INTRODUCTION
Culture plays an effective role in every business and in an individualism as well. The
report main aim is to understand the importance of culture and it is based upon an article of
Hofstede's and through this, report will critically evaluate the suggestion that is made by an
article and then justifies the statement on which I am agreed and disagreed. Further the report
also provides the suggestion apart from the article.
1. Evaluating the suggestion made in an article
From the article, it has been cleared that culture plays an effective role in working area as
well as in individualism. From the article it has been critically evaluated that Hofstede's provides
four dimension of culture and among all, Femininity and masculinity suggested that both man
and woman should be treated equally. As per the suggestion, the company need to employ
diverse workforce so that they all come up with their new ideas and that will help to lead a
business at further level of success (Cateora, Gilly, Graham 2011). Apart from this, having a
diverse workforce will help a business entity to deal with variety of customers and an
organization needs to promote the equality in order to maintain the peaceful environment.
Beside this, from an article it has been further evaluated that uncertainty avoidance refers
to how the members of a society will respond to uncertainty and at time a better culture of the
company or a country will tend to avoid risk taking and if the company will follow uncertainty
avoidance type of culture then this will help to make sure that the employees do not deviated
from the accepted standards. Apart from this, as per the article of Hofstede's, the long and short
term of orientation, the management of the organization needs to provide training sessions to
their employees (Hofstede, 2010).
Moreover, the author also suggested that the culture of one company is totally different
from another and because of their own values and cultures. The article also make suggestion that
the organization did not have the same values which an individual posses because values are
selected by the leadership in order to make sure that every employee of an organization should
understand the ethical behavior of an organization, its social responsibilities. While on the other
side, change in the communication (social media and social sharing) will also change the nature
of a culture and then it creates direct impact upon individual and an organization (Minkov,
2018). Thus, the national culture is further an important key aspect in marketing for a firm and it
also assists to understand the consumer behavior as well.

From the article, I am totally agreed with a statement of culture with a high power
distance tends to be more hierarchical because as per the example, United States business
environment also adopted different forms of management in order to lead a business art further
level of success and that is why they also adopt participative management so that they place
supervisors and subordinate in equal terms. On the other side, it is critically evaluated and I am
agreed from the statement that the culture of an employees working in global business is
different from national culture of one country because Hofstede's states that business develops
their own values and culture. It is possible when the business have diverse workforce so that it
will help to generate more ideas and provide valid solutions that further help to lead a business
towards success.
In addition to this, I am not agreed with the statement of change in communication will
also change the nature of culture and then it creates impact upon individual and an organization.

national culture as well. As their values are not same as individual's values and in that situation,

so because working in a team will helps to accomplish goals faster as compared to individualist
and it is also beneficial for a firm as well.

It is suggested that to maintain or improve the positive working culture in the company
has to boost the person morale because employee will naturally feel happier and enjoy their work
if the company have positive work culture. Beside this, the firm should also recruit the diverse
workforce and follow Handy's working culture i.e. Task culture in which the teams are basically
formed to address some specific problems (Gaganis and et.al., 2019). It is also suggested that to
make the culture of the company fit for the employees, the managers should provide training
session so that it will help them to make themselves comfort in the working environment.
In addition to this, culture can also be improved when the employees have high morale
and best productivity and to raise this, the managers of the firm should also provide volunteering
