INTRODUCTION
The designing and implementation of curriculum is the process which is participating in
broadening the designing and evolution of incorporated plans for acquisition. The main purpose
of this is to convert broad statements into the plan of actions. The primary intention of this
concept is to enhance the learning and acquisition abilities into the students. This will help in
contributing towards the personal, academic and professional development and learning power of
the students. The learning institute which is considered for this report is The junior play school
which is one of the oldest school of Sydney, Australia. This report will explain the manner in
which the institute provides learning power and builds the development of individual children.
MAIN BODY
1A. Learning environment and materials which assist a child's holistic learning.
Holistic learning is the process which emphasis on developing children's ability such that
they will be prepared to survive in the modern and advanced world. The holistic approach takes
up the responsibility to develop the whole of the life of children including each and every aspect.
They develop children such that they can meet with the challenges faced by them in life and in
their academic business also. This learning can be provided to the children's in the following
manner:
When children play in mud then they are exposed to experience the natural environment
and enhances their learning abilities. This helps them in learning natural beauty.
When crayons are given to the children then they start learning to draw and paint the
pictures.
When they are experienced with water then the children start to splash it on one another
which makes them enjoy the same.
The learning environment for the children can be created by using pictures, charts, images,
props, etc. which will attract them and enhance their learning power and abilities. Furthermore,
music can also be used to entertain them in between the learning sessions so they will be
motivated to learn new poems and stories by ways of music easily.
B. One modification in this and the manner to implement the same.
The one major modification which will be enhanced is cosmic education in which the
children will be able to learn not only about the educational materials but also other related

aspects.. This will be implemented by searching the interest of the children and by taking a small
and relevant idea which will be converted into a greater opportunity for them. Furthermore, they
must be taught about the outdoor games which has been lacked by children of present generation
due to the increasing technology and gadgets.
2A. Holistic learning creates a respect for the families and communities or not.
Yes, by providing holistic learning, the materials which will be considered develops a
respect for the families and communities. As the approach is considered to provide the overall
development for the children, it also enhances the learning ability of giving respect. For instance,
when teacher came they wishes them whole heartedly. Apart form this, when parents asks them
to learn something or get ready for school, the the children listen to them and do whatever the
parents says. Even at public places they are taught not to shout or greet our elders which
enhances the respect factor in them towards the elder and society. When during the learning
classes, the very first thing students do is prayer and the second thing they do is wishing their
teachers which also makes them learn that they have to wish their elders not only in learning
classes but also at home.
2B. One modification in providing respect and the way to implement it.
The learning institute will concentrate on providing the feeling of respect for their parents
and always obey their decision. This will be implemented by making children aware that how
hard their parents work in order to fulfil all their dreams. Under this, the students and children
will be taught that whenever they wake up, they must greet their parents because the way they
love them no other person in the world can do this. Furthermore, they do everything to fulfil the
wishes of their children.
3. Natural environment incorporated into the learning environment.
Natural environment enhances the learning power of the children. By exposing them to
nature, they will learn about the different animals and birds. They will also learn about different
types of plants which are very important.
One modification in this is concerned with, increasing the concern of afforestation where
children will be able to learn the importance of plants and more and more plants will be planted.
The students and children must be taught that they are alive due to the oxygen which they gain

be eat. Thus, such things are taught to the children during their early life only where the focus is

taught to develop their own strategies. Furthermore, planned and unplanned learning helps the
children to grow at a faster rate and kept on learning new skills and things on regular basis.
C. Importance of assessing the curriculum and learning experiences.
Due to changing environment and surroundings on regular basis, it is very crucial to
improve the learning curriculum and learning experiences on regular basis. Advancement in
technology has placed the emphasis on smart teaching through which children are able to learn
things in a more appropriate manner.
One of the crucial modification in this is concerned with introducing sex education at
early age only so that children will be able to identify and learn about the bad and inappropriate
touch. The learning curriculum helps not only the educator but also parents to know that what
things are required to be taught to the children at different levels such that this will enhance their
learning abilities and makes them grow faster.
5A. Service philosophy.
Service philosophy is the written documentation of various principles under which the
service operates. It involves the everyday practices and decisions of the approved educator,
provider, staff members, etc.
B. Inclusion of service philosophy.
While designing the curriculum, service philosophy can be included in considering that
rights of the children are very important and must be followed appropriately. It must concentrate
on improving the value and importance of aboriginal culture and torres striate island culture are
valued.
6. Importance of holistic learning experiences.
Holistic learning experiences is very crucial in present curriculum because it is not
confined only to the learning about tangible and measurable skills. Children are prepared for core
subjects which improves and uses their mental abilities. But this, approach not only improves
and concentrates on mental abilities but also on psychological, social and emotional growth.
Thus, for this, it is crucial to involve the continuity and learning transitions in the experiences
where children will develop their skills, they will be able to apply creative skills for solving

of EYLF will be working with a aim to extend and improve the learning ability of the children's
right from the beginning years of their education. This also signifies that children begin to learn
right from their birth and even before that which ensures them with right environment and there
are several tools and guidances which helps them in increasing the potential in order to learn
throughout their lives.
8 A. Observation of a child.
As an educator, the six observation has been derived from the child:
When pictures are used then the child takes more interest in learning.
The bright colours attract the child in order to enhance the learning abilities.
Different types of play toys inspire children to know what each play toy symbolises like
apple, boy, etc.
Child is interested in listening to stories and through this, they can retain the content in
their mind for longer period.
Furthermore, the animated pictures makes the child happy and enjoyable which teaches
various methods for behaving and reacting.
Communicating them regarding their home and personal aspects also enhances their
learning abilities.
B. Analyses and identification of child strength, goals and interest.
From the above observation of the child, it has been analysed that the child has strong
learning power and concentrates on each and every activity which is going into the surroundings.
The primary motive of a child is to learn different educational, physical and health related

learning. The child is more interested in learning through images and bright colours which
attracts them. In this, the objective will be to develop the children as much as possible in their
early life. For this, educator will focus immensely the ways like they will communicate with the
children in a very friendly manner, organises various games and activities for them, such that
they will be able to learn different things. They will also make use of projectors and depict their
own learning abilities by comparing good things v/s bad things.
9. Plan, implement and evaluate the act for children.
By properly, analyses and interpretation, the educator will plan the different educational
activities like fancy dress competition. In this, the students will be asked to become any famous
personality, fruits, vegetables or anything which they like a lot. This will help the educator in
knowing the different characters liked by different children which also somewhat explains the
character of their own. The children will also have to speak on the character they have become,
which will include the name of the character, reason for selecting and importance of the same in
children life.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that learning is very important for children
right from the beginning. If they are taught with right things from their initial years then this
places a strong emphasis on their mind and helps in future career development.
