INTRODUCTION
A portfolio is an important document which helps in providing essentials data and
credentials of a business concern to other competitor firms (Ryan, 2016). This report has been
based on Hollister which is a US based business concern dealing in clothing sector. This report
combines various elements such as a letter to self, marketing plan, pest analysis etc.

In my past, there were many things that were effectively influenced me and has been a great
memory for myself that whenever I think about, there is a smile comes on my face. My father
can be considered as one of the main reason with whom I felt what peace actually is, even when
you are going through a number of problems. He has motivated me and made me a good person
which helped me out in using different ways to resolve the issues. Along with this, I have also
made many mistakes in my life like I started taking drugs, started drugs and so on. This
impacted negatively on me and pushed me away from my future goals. This is one of the only
thing that I don't feel great about and I wish that I have never done that. My parents were the
only people who helped me out from coming out of drugs and on them you can trust blindly.
My parents makes me feel happy and I love them the way they are.

easy for Hollister to read and deliver the needs

Background: Hollister Co. is planning to enter into Melbourne, Australia with an aim to
tap the advantage of high profile needs of population of this country by providing high quality
products. For facilitating this successfully, managers of this enterprise have made a marketing
plan as described below:-
Mission: “To offer high quality products to customers to derive maximum satisfaction
from them and attain high customer service excellence”
Vision: “To become a global leader in clothing retail industry by providing products
which enhances standard of living of people”
STP: This model is used to gain knowledge about the target audience and market for a
company while entering a new country. Hollister Co. has also applied this model in this context
as follows:-
Segmentation: Enterprise has segmented the audience of Australia as per their
demographic characteristics as the standard of living of people over this is quite high and they
prefer high quality products.
Targeting: Hollister Co, has targetted millennials of Melbourne, Australia due to the
large scale liking of this customer segment towards clothing and accessories.
Positioning: Company has strategically positioned Melbourne as the expansion location
due to large scale availability of infrastructural facilities, raw material, labour and other
equipments that are necessary for company to carry out manufacturing of products (Wolff, 2018)

Hollister has the issue of entering into the global market and facing the challenges. The
challenges faced by Hollister in the global could be social, technological, political, economical,
environmental and legal factors.
These factors arises when a company is entering itself into global market. There should
be awareness among the employees of Hollister so that they will be ready for the upcoming
challenges which can come in front of the way of success of company. These issues when
identified help the company to be ready fro the future. In order to counter the challenges, the
company should focus on to adopt those changes so that they will concentrate over their work.

experience and thus adopt the changes required by the company. With the help of such training
and development sessions the employees of Hollister will develop their skills and accordingly
develop the efficiency and productivity of the organizational. Apart from that, the main
advantage company will get from above solutions is that they will gain competitive advantage.
