2. The European Union has stricter privacy laws than the United States, and not many
US companies are willing to comply with the EU Directive on Data Protection. How
would you resolve the conflict?
Confliction related to the difference in laws on data protection in different countries can be
solved with the help of general data protection protocols which are needed to be framed by all
the business organization worldwide1. Transparency and data privacy should be the foremost
aspect of the generalized data protection protocols which has to be followed by corporations of
both United States and America.
3. Decision Support Systems use models to process data. Explain what a model is. Give
two examples.
Decision support system is defined as the type pf model which are used in business
corporations for making any decision-making activities. Operations and planning across different
levels of organization can be positively impacted with the help of the decision support systems.
The two examples where decision support system can be implemented are as followings:

5. How could you use a Geographic information System to schedule your classes? Give
an example.
Geographic information system is used in different types of business organizations to
manage, store, manipulate and analyze data2. Different aspects of this kinds of systems can be
used in the upcoming technologies also which are being incorporated into the business
organizations. Location enabled services can be easier with the help of the geographic
information system.
