Reflection Paper 2
1. Identify the population presented in an article that requires special legal or ethical
research. Explain.
The groups of vulnerable people which are discussed in the article belong to homeless youth and
children identify on the streets of the USA and some parts of Canada. These people are
determined more in urbanised locations rather than in rural localities. It is a significant issue and
needs attention to minimise issues concern in the improvement of legal status and growth of such
vulnerable people. Government is not considering them properly as well as focuses less on
development policies about vulnerable people. Hence, the government is required to provide
appropriate accommodation to these groups with some health-related benefits with financial
support.
2. Identify the ethical issues in research for the vulnerable group.
One of a significant issue which is a concern with data collection process is a secondary source
of information. The researcher is using secondary sources like internet, books and data for the
data collection about homeless people in Canada which create a problem for the investigation
team. The issue was associated with the determination of database and carry down their e-mail at
one place. Thus, such a frame is one of the most challenging aspects of the study to investigate
about homeless people. One more issue was found out in terms of questionnaire and survey.
While organising a study, many of the people get influenced which create a problem in the data
collection process. A sample of the study was not specific because many people not respond to
the survey effectively.

One of the fundamental ethical principles of jeopardised in the research include the evaluation of
the sample and select the basic criteria of the survey. Moreover, consider their thoughts and
value to develop the feedback and perception of people also consider under the ethical principle
of jeopardised in the research. Data collection and documentation with the inclusion of
secondary data influence development and requirement of authority as well as interpretation of
data for clear identification of needs about homeless youth was a problematic factor. A monetary
feature of research was another considerable issue while developing the hypothesis of the
project.
4. Describe the strategies that researchers have used to ensure core principles are protected
The research strategies for the protection of core principles were qualitative analysis. It is
preliminary anticipated for the data collection process with specific tools and methods include
interview, questionnaire distribution etc. A questionnaire was organised on specific vulnerable
people for the anticipation of information and data. More than 10 items were needed to put in
mind while facilitating the ethics and values of a project. Moreover, it was mandatory to derive
permission from different health care workers and resources to a study valid and ethical.
5. In your opinion are the strategies identified adequately? Explain.
All the primary concern and strategies are appropriate in the study. I have found that research
methods refer to be effective and facilitate all requirements of study properly. I have anticipated
some issues as well in the study, but they all get managed with active and quick response.
