INTRODUCTION
Homelessness is defined as living in housing that is below the minimum standard and
lack secure tenure (U.K.’s Homelessness Problem Is Growing, and Spreading, Report Finds ,
2017). Therefore, individual who are homelessness are most often unable to acquire and
maintain secure, safe and adequate housing. In addition to this, homelessness and poverty both
are interrelated concepts.
Therefore, the report is based on the topic as “ Why Homelessness has been increased in
London for the past five years? ”. Herein, the national charity for homelessness people within the
UK stated about the true number of those who sleeping rough in England was much more greater
than the government figures.
Furthermore, assignment will cover the following things as aim and objectives will be
framed up on the given topic. Literature review will be collected in order to have depth findings.
Thus, methodologies will be designed to adopt one suitable method of conducting research.

the familiar sights on the streets of London. It has shot up the media and political agenda within
the last few years. Lack of financial support from the UK authorities is to preventing local

of homelessness might be inclusive of lack of qualification, debts, poor mental and physical
health, unemployment, breakdown and lack of social support.

primary and secondary. Thus, researcher will use primary technique so that first hand
information can be collected. It aids to determine complete and accurate picture of the data. On

article etc.
Sampling- It is defined as statistical analysis in which pre determined number of observation can
be taken from larger population. Herein, sampling can be defined with methods as random,
stratified, systematic and multistage etc. Henceforth, it can be collected with two methods as
probabilistic and non probabilistic. Therefore, the sample random technique will be selected with
help of sample size of 10 participants as government employees of UK.
Data analysis- This is technique that defined as collecting, cleaning, transforming and modelling
whole data with aim of identifying required information. Therefore, the result that obtained
needs to be communicated, support decision making and suggesting conclusion. In this research,
the researcher will use thematic analysis.
Ethical consideration
It is defined as norms or standards for conducting that distinguish between right and
wrong. This is termed out as to identify the difference between acceptable and unacceptable
behaviours. Therefore, researcher has to adopt some ethical consideration to maintain the
reliability of the research. Thus, process of research needs to be conducted in manner of
anonymity and confidentiality. Herein, informed consent must be taken to disclose any
information relate with the topic.
Limitation of the study
The presence of limitation within the research can bring negative result to whole
information that has been collected. In order to reduce the limitation to research, the numerous
evidence based strategies must be employed to end homelessness by enhancing access to housing
options and supportive services for housing stability.
Henceforth, government has taken the plant and that covers great Britain by setting out
the actions for each nation government to offer the detained solutions to people. Additionally,

housing and support, 3 said emergency response of official authorities can handle the situation of
homelessness. Furthermore, prevention measures aids to mitigate the issues and can stop
homelessness. Henceforth, majority of the participants stated that by providing adequate support
in accommodation, emergency and support can create the issue of homelessness.

Interpretation- Based on the above pie chart it can be concluded that there are number of
solution with help of which the problem of homelessness can be reduced. Henceforth, the total
number of participants were 10. In this, 3 stated that it can be mitigated with help of
enhancement in employment and income, 2 said it can be reduce by designing the crisis
response, 3 stated people of UK must provide housing as the solution, 2 responded that to
provide better support the government should take coordinated approach. However, majority
stated that increment in employment, income and housing as the solution are major factor that
can bring reduction in homelessness.
CONCLUSION
Hereby, it can be concluded that homelessness can be defined as social and political
phenomenon. Therefore, it may found in different forms and geographic in variable state. Thus,
present report is based on research topic as “Why Homelessness has been increased in London
for the past five years?”.
