Homes England is a public body which is funding in building the affordable houses for
the people. Report is consists of summary of the Homes England strategic plan from 2018 to
2023. Corporation is collaborating with the local authorities and private developers. Strategic
plan consists of mission and objectives of the corporation. Corporation aims of building houses
for the people, improve the quality of the construction and also improve productivity.
Assessment is concentrating on the significance of the objectives of the corporation. Corporation
also wants us to review the long term decision and planning of the corporation.
Summary of the case study
Homes England is playing the vital role in building the houses for the people.
Corporation has collaborated with the various authorities which are local authorities and other
infrastructure providers which will also help to the corporation to achieve the objectives. Homes
England aims of unlock the lands which will help the corporation in building more houses for the
people. Corporation is also ensuring that the right quality of the products are provided to the
builders for building the houses. Company is also trying to unlock the land of public and private
sectors and also unlock the investment which will be needed for building the houses (Noe, and
et.al., 2017).
Unlocking lands of public and private sector which will help the Homes England to
achieve the objectives. Long term priorities of the corporation is to deliver the 2000 houses by
2023 and also complete 23000 houses by 2030. Unlock the land for houses upto 27000 homes
which will also need funding and infrastructure. Unlock the authorities for land upto 32000,
which will help the corporation to achieve the objective. Through this people will get more
houses and as well as affordable houses which will also increase the standard of living of the
people in the country. It will promote the housing sector and also provide houses to the people
which need the houses (Mathooko, and Ogutu, 2015).
Unlocking investment for funding the houses which are built by the corporation.
Corporation is aiming to deliver 130000 houses till 2022 through the process of ownership and
affordable housing schemes and also allot at least 12500 houses for rent in affordable areas.
Homes England is concentrating on the continuing the collaboration with local authorities and
other infrastructure funding companies which will also provide development to the corporation.
Through this the corporation is planning to provide affordable houses to the people of the

country. These objective of the corporation is also contributing to the economy of the country
and also increase the GDP of the country.
Increasing the productivity of the construction industry will also improve the quality of
the work done by the construction companies. Homes England is concentrating on capturing the
best practices which will improve the quality of the houses, and also increase the knowledge of
the MMC which is modern methods of construction. Through this points company would
provide the houses with increasing the productivity and also people would get houses which
would last long. Increasing the productivity is developing and also promoting innovating
techniques which would improve the productivity.
Driving the market resilience will create silent and competitive market which will
encourage the small builders to enter the market through which these small builders will give
strong competition to the existing ones. Company aims of improve the small builders and
improve the design quality of the houses as well. Through this market will face competition and
also innovate the things which will improve the productivity as well. New entries in the market
are trying to face competition and survive in the market which will also increase the economy of
the country. Small and medium enterprises will enter the market which will also increase the
partnership and collaborations, through this the funds would be easily generated for building
houses.
Supporting local areas will support the local areas which needs to be developed and
needs more homes. Homes England aims of working with the local areas and provide the
primary infrastructure facilities in the local areas. Corporation aims of providing 200 houses to
the local areas in financial year 2022 to 2023. Through these the local areas which will be
developed according to the needs and primary facilities which will be provided to the people of
the country. Local areas would be developed which would increase the sale of the houses and
also it would increase the economy of the country.
Delivering ownership of the houses to the owners of the houses which have owned the
houses. Homes England is providing ownership in the form of shared ownership and owners
which have bought the houses, it will deliver upto 130000 houses by march 2022. People are also
provided with the loan facilities which will encourage them to buy the houses and by march 2018

at the right places and also there is shortage of land with the lack of funds as well. Company
needs improve the productivity of the construction sector and also expand the market for the
company. Company is trying to achieve the objectives which will help the company to achieve
the long term goals (Donaldson, Johnstone, and Myint, 2019).
Ansoff model strategies
Ansoff model consists of market penetration, market development, product development
and diversification. It is focusing on the competition in the market which will have the effect on
the development of the company.
Market penetration strategy is focusing on the market share and market growth.
Customer loyalty would be analyzed and also improvement of customer value. Through market
penetration strategy the Homes England would concentrate on the market share and also includes
the customers support for the houses which would be provided to them.
Market development includes using modern methods of construction and innovating
techniques which would be used for construction. Market development consists of the market
segments which customers can be easily attracted towards the company. Through this strategy,
the market for the company has been risen and the company would take competitive advantage
of market development.

the houses. Primary facilities as well as luxury facility would be provided to the customers
according to their selection. These facilities would increase the standard of living of the
customers. Company is generating the funds for building the houses by marketing of the
company and also funds would be generated by brand loyalty in the market. Increase in the
productivity would be possible due to the using the modern methods for construction. Unlocking
the land of private and public sector for building the houses for the people of the country

generating the funds for the building the houses. There is low productivity in the construction
sector which needs to be improved. Company can use differentiation strategy and market
development strategy which will increase the productivity of the construction sector and also
company can use innovative ideas for promoting the houses or company can use modern
methods of construction which would help the company in building the houses. Company is also
helping in increasing the standard of living by providing the facilities to the owners of the
houses. These strategies would help the company to fight the competition in the market.
