1.0 Introduction and Summary of the Case Study Business
This project focuses on planning and preparation of an organisation for attending a trade
show. A trade show is an event whether hundreds of big, medium and small business
organisations set up stalls within a fair ground and promote their products and services among
the interested customers.
The organisation under focus in this report is Honey Hill Handicrafts Ltd., an organisation
in England that started with the production and sale of basic handicraft items. With time, the
organisation has grown significantly and now has a proper management structure and
employees. Currently, the organisation is considering attending an upcoming trade show in
London in order to promote their products and also encourage the use of handicraft items
among the people of the country.
2.0 Business Functions and Management Tools Used by the Business
Honey Hill Handicrafts was initially a small handicrafts producer run by a group of two
people with 10 workers creating handicraft items. The leaders of the organisation focussed on
strategic management in helping the organisation to grow. With increased sales, the company
grew rapidly and the management board was formed to supervise manufacturing and sales. The
management focussed on product quality rather than quantity and also ensured the customers
are reached in time and with the best possible outcome. The leaders always maintained strong
relationship with the customers and ensured the customers are provided with the best quality
products. Currently, the management team is considering CRM implementation in the business
and wants to participate in an upcoming trade show in order promote its products in front of
national audience.

Resource / Requirement Estimated Cost
Exhibition Host Salary £1500
Stall Setup Costs £1250
