BACKGROUND AND CURRENT PRACTICE
Hospital management system is defined as computer system which is designed & programmed in
such a manner for dealing with operational charges. The program which is inpatients,
laboratories and outpatients by managing their database management in term of record, billing
and medicines and so on. Hospitals are using the current manual system for the maintaining &
maintenance the critical information. The current system is followed by the paper system which
is very haptic and problematic. Sometime searching information is also taking very large amount
of time for finding. So, for removing this we use e hospital management system in which all the
things are managed automatically and we need not require any human hand for managing the
database.
PROJECT AIMS/OBJECTIVES:
Hospitals are dealing with the life & health of the patients. Good medicines is caring by the well
managed & trained doctors with high configure equipment & tools. Good medical is named as
good record managing. We can easily manage the record of machinery equipment testing as well
as patient details and doctor booking meeting or concern.
It is designed for improving the quality & management of hospital services and caring area for
better analysis & costing also. It is enabling for developing the effectiveness with good quality of
work in all field. Managing the hospital will help you in future for further research process also.

STAKEHOLDERS
Share holder plays an important for any of the organization growth as well as market value with
their analysis. However this is public sector service, so there is no such specification. Anyone,
who is interested for sharing this into market value, they can. They are called stakeholders. Mr.
Andrew Simon who is having 65 % stakeholder who is having more than 50 %. Rest of the are
patients & doctors who are having the percentage of 0.075%.

INITIAL RISK IDENTIFICATION:
Main initial risks are as follows:
 Gathering information of employee, medicine and doctors.
 Project discontinuity.
 Cost Analysis for Database Management, however acceptable or not.
 Technology & security aspect in which a user want because there are a lot of technology
programming language available for development (DOCCITY, 2016).

ERD Database Management
This ERD is containing different service of hospital management system in which there are
mainly two portion one is for user & another one is for admin. User can book an appointment
with doctor & make their treatment. For user there are mainly three features one is log in, profile
and appointment. Now the second, is for admin panel who is managing all the operational charge
either it is doctor or employee or patient details and canteen details also. It is also managed all
the canteen services with home patient food differentiating with normal user food. Proper doctor
is provided for respective disease of patient.

INITIAL ESTIMATES OF COSTS
Here, below is process of cost estimated and it is as follows:
Total number of webpage (including all) = 30 Page
Each Page cost = 150 $
Total Web Page Cost = 4500 $
Database Connectivity Cost = 900 $
Total Development Cost = 900 + 4500 = 5400 $
Security of Website & Database = 1500 $
Complete Project Cost = 1500 + 5400 = 6900 $
