Nursing is considered a high-risk profession as it included OHS issues that are
Occupational health and safety-related issues. The authors of this study tried to conduct a pilot
study to understand the nursing students’ perspective about the OHS issues and extend to which
they possess knowledge about the same. The authors with this study tried to include enlighten
OHS issues in the minds of nursing students by including it in their undergraduate or other
courses. They have done this with the help of themes. Student grasps the knowledge in the best
possible manner and tried to identify measures for managing with OHS issues in the future.

This research study talked about manual handing of children in hospitals by nurses and
because of that they sometimes encounter various injuries like back pain, knee injury, etc. these
injuries are considered among OHS issues that nurses may face during their tenure of work in
hospitals. The results of this study can be helpful for future researches in which the authors can
establish new concepts, principles, measures, etc about the careful handling of OHS issues in
hospitals or health care units.

This article talked about the nonsurgical accidents that got happened in many hospitals to
the staff of those hospitals, patients or visitors. The article aims at presenting the empirical
analysis of the accidents that took place in hospitals relating to the health and safety of the
individuals involved. It also discussed the results based on Work Act 1974, which directs the
behavior relating to health and safety measures in hospitals. The result of this study can be
utilized for nurses in providing them knowledge about the OHS issues that they can face during
their professional life.

among community nurses: a study regarding the impact on providing care to rural

In this research, the authors have conducted an analysis to identify occupational health
and safety issues faced by community nurses serving in ruler places as well as its adverse impact
on the rural consumers of those hospitals. For this purpose, the authors have conducted primary
research by taking interviews of nurses of around 15 communities, where they are serving. The
results identified that the number of health and safety measures are identified those were the
challenges that the nurses and the rural consumers are facing. The study concluded with
providing some measures to those nurses to manage OHS issues present around them.

This study talked about occupational health and safety measures. It is a survey
questionnaire that is designed to analyze the OHS issues nurses face during their tenure. The tool
is designed to review the data in 2020 so that on the basis of results the necessary corrective
steps can be taken by major hospitals, government or governing bodies. These results can further
help nurses in reviewing their state during their professional life in healthcare units. It is
concluded that nurses needed to take care of OHS issues in the most diverse manner so that they
can effectively save themselves and the patients they are serving in the hospitals.
