INTRODUCTION
An introduction is successful when all the factors that are affected with change are
considered. Present report is about the issues that are required to be considered for the success of
the new project.

Issue 1 :Determining the need for which software is to be developed
Hospital is planning to develop the new software through which it can manage the
records of patients. Hospital has been using computer systems that are helping the hospital for
supporting administrative and clinical procedures. But the systems used by the hospital are
isolated that are not not capable of passing information about patients over other systems.
Therefore the practitioners are not having the information of patients records. They are not
available wit the medical history of patients. Patient in large have agreed that they will be
benefited if they are having centralised record system. Software are required to be developed
that resolve the problems actively.
It is required that software should be developed for hospital where the records and
information about all the patients can be placed by the medical staff. All details related to drugs
and their treatment should be recorded on the the softwares. Developing a software where data
may be entered and retrieved by the users who are required of relent records. Problems in this
system is related to developing software where all the records of the patients are stored. For
meeting this needs may GP 's in region have invested and developed patient record system. They
have resisted attempts of governments for controlling the their expenditure over drugs on the
argument that this would be reducing their professional status (Brhel and et.al., 2015). For
building appropriate system software developers has to analyse all the needs and requirements.
These software would be effective only if they are build such that they are available for access
by all practitioners and patients as well.
Issue 2 : Hardware and software
Problem is not solved even if the software is developed. For success of the product it is
essential to consider factors such as hardware and software. Company is having computer
systems that are not capable of transferring data from system to another therefore it would be
difficult for the hospitals to implement new software system. For effective implementation of the

maintenance software are also required to be upgraded with time (Zurawka, Schaeuffele and
Carey, 2016). Up-gradation is essential for maintaining the compatibility of the software with the
current and future needs.
It is essential for appropriately developing the software that fulfils the need and
requirement of all the users of the systems. Hardware devices may not be available with all the
user of the records. Hospital has to ensue that all the requirement related to hardware and
software are developed. Hardware and software require yearly maintenance so that work
efficiently without any outbreak. Hospitals along with other hardware and software would be
required to employ new technicians and professionals for operating the hardware and software.
New software system could not be operated by general medical staff. At the time of outbreaks of
system and hardware technicians would be required for restarting the systems and software. It is
not an easy task to maintain such big software without any flaws by the hospital as there are
chances that software may break that may delete all the records of patients (Matharu and et.al.,
2015). Therefore the hospitals along with hardware for recording the information also maintain
manual records so that hospital is available with data at the time of system failures.

One of the important issue that is related with success of the project is cyber security.
Over present one cannot ignore the risks associated with data hacking and manipulations. Cyber
crimes are increasing over the time. It is essential for the hospital to ensure that security measure
are undertaken by the software developer and hospital. If the data is not secured with appropriate
security protocols and other security measure hacker may hack the information installed in
software. Software contains important informations of the patients related to their treatment and
issues. If there is not proper security than any person with intent of affecting the patients may
derive the personal information of the patient. Software installed in hospital should be highly
