facilities, and equipment (Dwight, & Zhang,

availability, and longevity of a physical asset.

Like any other constructions process, asset
design and management is essential in;
 Knowing the assets an organization owns for
proper monitoring and maintenance
 Evaluating the design criteria and the conditions
of their operation

care to ensure reliable performance of each asset
