for the growth of the industry. The ability to handle the customers and make them enjoy their
time with no worries is the skill most required. This can be achieved by having the capability to
solve the problems at the time of hassle.
I have the capability to greet people politely even the most difficult ones by solving the
problems and providing them with the solutions for help. I can always think of an idea for
critically managing a situation that is uncontrollable. I try to be positive and proactive with the
customer services. I always welcome and greet people with a smile and remain professional. I
can go the extra mile for the customers for the betterment in the services and making the
customer feel comfortable. I had personal interaction with manager of Pert A and get to know
about various types of skills and jobs provided by the hospitality sector in the restaurants and
cafes.
Cultural awareness
The industry needs culturally active employees for attending the customers with the
different backgrounds. The employees need to be aware about the different attitudes and the
norms that are different from their own. The customers will not always share the same
perceptions, values and beliefs. The employee at the hospitality industry need to be adaptable
according to the customers’ needs to serve them with the best service possible. It’s important to
