Introduction
 Employment contract is a contract between employer and employee that
consist of personal care of hotel that usually describe rules and regulation
in context of employees.
 It creates impacts on decision-making process of an organisation. In
hospitality industry there are many laws and regulation imposed by
government of every nation which have to be followed by the mangers of

Health and Safety Work Act (1974)
 The mangers of Heath and Lockhart are adopting health and safety work
act in performing their business activities and function.
 For such instance they are providing proper training and development
session to its employee and staff members so that they can perform their
best and meet up with actual performance

Equality Act (2010)
 The main motive of establishing this act is to bring equality among
employees so that employees are not discriminated from its complexion,
religion and culture.
 Managers of Heath & Lockhart are maintaining equality among its staff
members so that each and every employee feel and secure within
workplace.

Minimum wage Act (1998)
 As per this act each and every employee need to provide equivalent wage
that are imposed by government according to their roles and
responsibilities as well as qualification.
 The manger need to ensure that age 25 or over have to be paid £7.83 per
hour, age between 21 to 24 should be given £7.38 per hour as well as
£5.90 having age group 18 to 20.
