This presentation will describe the role and responsibilities of staff members working in
the house keeping department of the Hilton hotel. It is very essential to improve the
effectiveness and efficiency of the employees in order to develop and enhance the
services of the hotel.

To convert the present hotel into five star, the responsibilities of all the staff members
are also increases and for this reason, the role of house- keeping department is as
follows:
1. In hotel, housekeeping department is responsible to clean and fresh the rooms of their
guest awhile guest are out and in the room.
2. They are also responsible for taking inventory during a day and they also check the
stock such as towels, fresh linens, cleaning supplies.
