business. It will get maintain effectively by managing its cash flow and delayed with an essential
sort of the planning an effective and efficient. The following report covers the COVID – 19
effects of decreasing the GDP and unemployment and on the other side, there are the social
stigma and mental health problems.

The hospitality industry is a vast industry among all. It includes different sectors such as
travel and tourism, food and drink service, lodging and recreation. It involves motels, bars,
restaurants, tourism agencies and many more. It is all about welcoming the guests with a good
gesture and make them feel comfortable and entertaining throughout the journey. This industry
comes in the service sectors. It drives to provide an enjoyable experience to the guests for all
who participate. Academic skills for business and management are beneficial to keeping a
company running smoothly (Kumar and Garg, 2021). This will also help experts and
professionals acknowledge both internal and external factors that affect the business's success
and the process involved in carrying out the objectives. Covid-19 has affected each and every
field of the industry throughout the world. This is an unprecedented challenge that is faced by
many companies in the hospitality industry. Due to Covid-19, this industry hit very hard among
all. Having high academic skills for business and management will help to handle and control
these kind of situations very well.
Due to Covid-19, the whole economy of the country has severely impacted. With the
rising restrictions on the movement of citizens and lockdown in Europe is the hospitality, leisure

and travel industry very hard, especially these industries as it include physical contact. As many
organisations lose revenue for the business, unemployment is unlikely increase. When people are
losing their jobs, it will adversely impact the employment and affect the whole economy. A
sharp decline in the spendings of customers in the European countries will also affect the GDP
and economy. In the worst scenario, the entire GDP could shrink by 0.9% in the year of 2020.
Developing nations, especially those who are dependent on the commodity exports and tourism,
face heightened economical risks (Kumar, Normala and Belhadi, 2021). Due to the pandemic,
there was a sudden stop in the arrivals of tourists which is affecting the whole tourism sector
even in Small Island Developing States (SIDS) that gives employment opportunities for millions
of low-skilled employees. And the reversal of capital flows and decline in the commodity related
revenues are rising the likelihood of debt adversity for several economies that are dependent on
the commodity.
Covid-19 also develops the social stigma which usually deals with gender, race, culture ,
illness and even a disease. Persons who are socially stigmatized feel devalued and different by
others. It is the disapproval of an individual based on the perceivable social features that provide
distinguish characteristics. It is quite common to know that a person who is infected by the
Covid-19 disease, feel stigmatized by other members in the society. Due to government and
safety measures, they have to keep themselves away from other members in the society and keep
themselves isolated.
Covid-19 has changed the lives of people who are infected with the disease and more and
more changes are occurring in the daily routines of the people. There is a popular term called
“new normal”, which creates new realities for the citizens and have affected their mental health
as well. It causes in many ways such as temporary unemployment, working from home, lack fo
physical contact, home schooling of children, friends and colleagues take time to get into this.
This all has affected the mental health of the citizen.
Undoubtedly, the Covid-19 pandemic has a drastic impact on the lives of people but
somehow, it is also create a positive impact on the people's live. For instance, the lockdown had
created a time in which people could spend their quality time with family and could support in
their daily lives. They could understand more by spending all time together. Due to lockdown, as
people live in their houses, they do not move anywhere which saves the environment while
reducing the pollution (Pang, 2021). They could also increase their savings. Due to the Covid-19,

use of technologies are also increasing which delivered a positive impact on the economy. It also
helps in remote working as people could be able to do their work even from their home.
On the other side, Covid-19, has adversely impact the global situations. Many businesses
had to shut down their gates for a very long time which cause a huge loss in the revenue. Loss of
revenue affects the global economy. Many workers also lost their jobs as companies have
nothing to pay them. While many companies are there in the industry who paid 70% of the salary
to their employees. There are many people who lost their jobs even though they are talented and
skilled enough (Williamson, Hassanli and Grabowski, 2021). Some of them employees who lost
their jobs switching to local business in the local market. Social distancing also affected
negatively as many citizens had to stay away from their families. As the travel industry stops in
the pandemic, there was no mode of transportation through they could travel to their home
places. Covid-19 also affected the education system where students are not allowed to go schools
or colleges. There whole process was changed, now the education is learned through digital
platforms, exams are held online and many more . Overall, the pandemic has created various
negative and positive impacts to the economy.
Negative development rate due to the impact of COVID- 19 will marked an declination
of the income, high term of the unemployment, low term of the industrial production and
declination in the sales (Provenzano and Volo, 2021). Social stigma relates to the health issues in
the negative course among individuals who share particular aspects and disease in terms of the
COVID- 19. The pandemic situation of COVID- 19 relates to the condition of staying at the
house and fewer times and channels of social interactions and practices. It will directly have
negative impact on their physical course and mental course of the health in an effective and
efficient manner.
CONCLUSION
From the above mentioned report it has been concluded that, there are varied term that
will present the issues and impact in terms of the COVID – 19 on the economy. The most
suitable term of the impact will on the manner of the shutting down of several divisions of the
business sections. Each and every section is hardly effected by the business to manage their flow
manner as per to the basic fields with suitable sections as effectively and efficiently. It will also
maintain the basic structure to follow the fundamental course of guideline with each and other
orientation of the business. The above report will follows the global manner of the tourism and

determining the manner of the method and suitable section of the approaches it will be easy for
them to manage the basic set of the criteria and fundamental section with effectiveness. The
global manner of the survey will enables the manner to know the dealings and methods in order
to maintain the development and growth of the business of management.
