6. Property description- Ritz-Carlton Toronto is a luxury Five Star hotel comprising of 54 floor tall
skyscraper (Ritz-Carlton, 2019). It is located in a plush locality overlooking lake Ontario and CN tower
(Ritz-Carlton, 2019) It is one of the largest luxury hotels of Toronto.
7. Booking policy- The booking policy of the hotel is simple and customer friendly. The hotel takes
bookings through its reception, own website, travel agents and travel portals (Ritz-Carlton, 2019).
8. Food services- The hotel has private dining areas which is led by chefs who provide a pan global menu
for the customers (Ritz-Carlton, 2019). Continental, Chinese and Italian dishes are a part of the menu.
(Ritz-Carlton, 2019) Additionally, the hotel has two major restaurants which provide breakfast, lunch
and dinner. TOCA restaurant provides classic Italian menu. The restaurant has a seating capacity of
200 people and is open between 6AM to 11 PM (Ritz-Carlton, 2019). Another restaurant is the DEQ
terrace lounge which provides fine wine and urban cuisines (Ritz-Carlton, 2019).

9. Audio visual equipment- Ritz-Carlton Toronto provides a host of audio visual equipment for its
customers (Ritz-Carlton, 2019).There are 42 inch LCD HD panel television in each room along with
complementary WIFI and two speaker phone.

a. Recreational activities- Ritz-Carlton offers a range of recreational facilities to its guests.
There is a dedicated spa and fitness centre in the hotel (Ritz-Carlton, 2019). Additionally, the
hotel offers tours to various important parts of the city like Toronto international film festival
(Ritz-Carlton, 2019). There is also a dedicated exploration tour for kids.
10. Transportation and area attractions- It is fairly easy to reach the Ritz -Carlton hotel from various
areas in the city (Ritz-Carlton, 2019). There are four ways to reach the Ritz-Carlton from Toronto
International Airport and Union Station. It can be reached via taxi, bus, shuttle or private vehicles (The
Trip Advisor, 2019). Places of attraction near the hotel are Toronto symphony orchestra, Toronto
convention centre, Royal Alexandra theatre, Ripley’s aquarium of Canada, CN tower and Princess of
Wales theatre (The Trip Advisor, 2019).
11. Number of rooms and room types-
a. there are five double room suites in the hotel with a view of Lake Ontario or CN tower. Size
of the suites is 900 to 1400 SQ FT. The suites contain bedroom, living room with foyer,
bathroom and powder room.
b. There are also 56 single bedroom corner suites with bathrooms. Size of these suites is 650 SQ
FT
c. There are 200 deluxe guest rooms with luxury fittings. These are 450 SQ FT in size (Ritz-
Carlton, 2019).
12. Restaurants, banquets and meeting space – There are two main restaurants in Ritz Carlton Toronto.
TOCA restaurant serves traditional Italian food while the DQM Terrence and lounge offers drinks and
Urban cuisines (Ritz-Carlton, 2019).
Additionally, Ritz-Carlton has two floors of conference rooms which includes 15 meeting rooms and
banquet spaces. Conference rooms are mostly 10FT in size and are named as Saloon A, B and C,
executive boardroom and cobalt room (Ritz-Carlton, 2019). These rooms can receive around 205
guests.
