• This continuous line drawing of Hotel trolley
was inspired from similar clipart.
• I have used the continuous line technique for
completing this pencil sketch because it depicts
simple object which is symbol for hospitality
industry.
• The hotel Trolley is a common symbol for
hospitality because it can be seen in any large or
small accommodation establishment.
• As soon as a consumer or traveller enters
hospitality organization they are greeted with
the Hotel trolley as trolley man provides them
the service of taking their belongings to the
accommodation area.

• My second pencil sketch focuses on a
Hotel establishment which are major
business classification in the hospitality
industry.
• This pencil sketch utilizes the hatching
technique and is based on the idea of
central location Hotel.
• Hospitality establishment which are
located in lucrative locations such as
centre of the city are usually multi
storeyed because they have to
maximize their space with the available
property available and high costs of
property.

• In the first pen sketch I have created an ice cream cone.
• This simple sketch related to the theme of hospitality chosen for this
digital portfolio because ice cream is a common fast food available
in most hospitality organizations.
• Specifically ice cream cones which are not usually prepared at home
and enjoyed at dining places at Hotels, restaurants, bed and
breakfast, motels, café, and other types of hospitality
establishments.
• I believe that the light pen shading done in the cone sketch make it
more realistic and helps deliver more interesting result while
drawing a simple abject.
• This also has the positive aspect of clear pen lines without any spoilt
edges.
