Recent trends and developments on the tour operator’s industry:
In this market environment tour operation is one of the fastest growing sector and
it is contributing large amount of money in economy of the nation. In relation with
LCB, they are providing best suitable services to its tourist with the help of
different tour operators and these four tour operators are stated below:
Inbound tour Operators: They are the one non- residents and travel in
different countries for the purpose of their bushiness. In order to make promotion
packages inbound tour operators often work with other travel agents and
distribution partners.
Domestic Tour Operators: They are locally-based and provides
opportunities to travellers who are interested in travelling various destinations
within the country. Basically, they make arrangements such as transport,
accommodation, sightseeing etc.,
UK Outbound Tour Operators: They are the one who generally work
with international travellers as their most of the packages are based on travelling
from one country to other country of visitor's choice. Outbound Tour operators
can be specialised in particular regions.
Specialist Tour Operators: They are responsible for providing services that are
related to niche market holidays. Thus, Specialist tour operators may be
specialised in destinations hiking, skiing etc.,
Current trends and development
Trends in travel and tourism has changed with the change in course of
time, nowadays people are travelling more for spending their free time rather
than for business purposes. LCB, has adopted latest trends for providing better
services to its clients and some of them are explained below for better
understanding:
Advancement in Technologies: Earlier travellers has to look for
pamphlets or newspaper articles for getting proper information regarding any
destinations. But now travellers can get information by visiting websites and
applications. This has enable LCB in attracting a large number of customers
which is ultimately increasing profitability of the company.
The effect of Brexit on Tourism: Brexit has put both positive and
negative impact on the tourism sector. In terms of positive aspects UK has full
hold on revenues and profitability generated by their own. Whereas in relation
with negative aspects ratio of skilled employees has decreased.
Increased environmental awareness and responsible tourism:
Industry of travel and tourism is not confined with the same segment. Along
with this, companies who are working in this sector are making people aware
about environment. For example: LCB, is providing instructions related to
travellers that not to litter waste near beaches.
