Introduction
Business management is the administration of an organization whether it is a business and non-
profit organization, or government authority. This includes all activities of setting the company
strategy and coordinating the efforts of their staff members to reach with desired goals and
targets through the use of accessible resources. It is required for a business manager is to perform
various functions that include arranging, organizing, leading, directing, controlling and
motivating. Business management is the disciplines which are devoted as analyzing, planning,
managing and operating business functions in a better manner. The report covers two journals
which are based on a qualitative and quantitative approach.
Task 1: Quantitative approach
Hospitality and tourism:
a) Introduction:
In the United Kingdom, tourism is developing around the unique and world-beating experience
and it is both inbound and outbound. Tourism is the core and important sector in the UK
economy industry. It is estimated around 9.6% of all employment and there is approximately 9%
GDP rate. This will assist in developing job opportunities all over the country people. In the year
of 2009-09, the recession and other sectors help in stimulating the economy through sustained
growth and success (Morgan and Hunt, 2017). Tourism prospects as typical driven to enhancing
in affluence. It is the cyclical sector during economic expansion. This will grow at the time of
recession and its current trends are outperform the economic cycle. In the international level,
tourism is estimated to continue the growth and success in this industry. It will increase by
around 4.7% to 1.2 billion in the year 2008-09. This can be analyzed that the economic impact of
outbound travel from the UK is an essential contributor to the United Kingdom economy.
Aim: “To evaluate the current trends and growth level of hospitality and tourism sector”.
Objectives:
To understand study of hospitality and tourism industry.
To analyze the international tourism trends which enhancing business growth.

Background: The current topic examines the facts related to the tourism sector which directly
effectively impact on the hospitality industry. This will assist in examining the inbound and
outbound tourism sector which helps them in gaining the attention of desired visitors. Outbound
is an essential element in the tourism economy in the UK. The entire economic impact of
outbound tourism is a total of 28.3 euro billion of UK GDP rate.
Marketing:
Introduction: Marketing is one of the leading procedure which helps companies in promoting
different types of goods and services in the large market place. Retailing is the process of
evolution and it is undergoing a dramatic transformation. It is can be analyzed that the retail
sector is termed as marketing which increases in the current time. It is estimated that in the year
of 2012-13 there is around 10% enhancement in employment opportunities which are provided
to their country people.
Aim: “To analyze the importance of marketing in retail sector”.
Objectives:
To evaluate the concept of marketing.
To examine the strategies which help in enhancing sales with marketing.
To analyze the benefits of marketing in increasing business growth and success level.
Background: The study will analyze the significance of marketing which assists organizations in
promoting and advertising a variety of goods and services (Morgan and Hunt, 2017). It will
assist in examining various strategies to gain higher income and profitability.

b) Methodology
Philosophy – Interpretivism research philosophy is used to interpret the elements of the study

to the scientific approach where they are set variables to measure data or information. It is one of
establishing quantitative research methods and techniques.
Data collection – It is that method which can be used for collecting and gathering accurate data
while completing such report in a better manner. In this research, the questionnaire can be used
for evaluating various respondents’ views and opinions regarding a specific topic.
Data analysis technique – In this research, predictive analysis technique can be used for
analyzing the estimated data and facts which directly influence results or outcomes.
c) Findings and recommendations
It can find out that In the UK, tourism is currently worth £126.9 billion employment
opportunities in every local authority. In the current time period, tourism is a successful sector
which helps in estimating, forecasting and generating various job opportunities for the country
people. They can offer long term plan which provides benefits to the national economy.

Introduction – In the current time period, travel and tourism are one of the leading industries
which are promoted their functions and operations in the market by using effective marketing
strategy. Marketing plays an essential role in providing success and growth to any business
organization. In the hospitality and tourism industry, marketing is the key method and tool which
help in introducing different location to customers and also attract them to visit their places in a
specific hotel. This can be analyzed that marketing has considerably evolved in the previous
years which enhance the use of technology in order to gain the attention of a large number of
travelers. In this, they can use marketing strategy which helps them in enhancing a number of
visitors and travelers.
Aims: “To analyze the importance of E-marketing in the tourism and hospitality industry”.
Objectives:
To understand the concept of tourism and hospitality industry.
To examine the importance of E-marketing for an organization.
To evaluate various ways through which tourism and hospital industry enhances their
income level.
Background - The background of this study is to analyze the marketing strategy which can help
the Hospitality and tourism sector to attract their desired customers towards different
destinations. There are various types of marketing strategies which involves e-marketing that is
one of the effective methods in order to gain the attention of visitors.
Marketing:
Introduction – Marketing is the method which helps in promoting various goods and services of
an organization. This is the term which covers various things and it is helpful in selling,
marketing, purchasing and distributing a variety of products among customers (Kottler and
Keller, 2016). Along with this, performance measurement is the sector of marketing which

visitors. They have used e-marketing which enhancing online sales by attracting the desired
customer base and also reduce negative risks. There are various companies which are used
different marketing strategies that will help them in maintaining and managing all the hospitality
industry. This will choose different routes which are related to marketing communication which
does not exist in the conventional marketing systems. This is the best method which assists the
firm in enhancing the popularity and promoting their services in all over the world among the
people. By this, they can easily a large number of visitors to explore the destination view and
opinions in a better manner. There are various ways through which the tourism and hospitality
sector can easily increase income level. It includes analyzing the whole market, analyzes people
needs or preferences and evaluates their requirements in the proper mode. This sector will assist
in identifying potential visitors who are willing to spend their vacations in other nation and
destinations and gain memories for this place which are offered by the travel agency.
