Introduction
The hotel industry demands highly advanced personalities as employees. Having effective
business skills is important for getting better professional opportunities in the desired industries.
It helps to grab the internal concept of the industry faster; in that way, improving the
performance of an individual to great extends. Therefore, it is extremely significant for an
individual to identify their potency and drawbacks to improve them for better personal and
professional development (Tasker, 2015). In order to identify and improve one’s skills and
potency, one can make use of a number of tools and techniques. In this report, personal
evaluation will be done as per the given scenario. Furthermore, SWOT analysis will be done to
develop the personality for developing career in hotel industry. This analysis will help to
understand personal factors and as per the weaknesses found from this analysis, personal
development plan will be prepared. This report will provide an understanding about the
preparation of personal development with an understanding about requirements of hotel
industry.

Conclusion
Personal SWOT is important to find out personal factors for setting the improvement goals. It
helps to find out the strengths for increasing confidence and weaknesses to improve the skills.
The report outlines a detailed personal swot and a personal development plan according to
SWOT analysis. It states that some of the skills are needed to improve for the given scenario
and the strengths are helpful to get success in the hotel industry. Communication skill is
important for the people of hotel industry and the way of improving communication is clear from
the report. It can be concluded that personal development plan is highly important for improving
the weak areas of people.
