Introduction
I had the responsibility to write an assignment to assess the present skills related to the
academics and employability required in the job market of today and provides the assessment of
what should be known by me to develop the skills and features required to complete the tasks
assigned to me. Assessing myself individually, I could frame the SWOT Analysis to acquire the
knowledge to develop the plan for personally developing myself in working for the betterment of
the hotel industry. The PDP will provide a clear idea about the present situation faced by me to
enhance the skills within me to develop the acumen to deliver the professional and quality
performance within the organisation.
I am 32 years old and work as a delivery manager for the Company Uber Eats within the
city of London where I am residing for the past two years. I am looking for opportunities in the
service industry especially in the hotels to work for the betterment and serve numerous
customers receiving services from the customers. I can develop the studies and expand the
manufacturing and operational bases of the industry I will be working in to enhance the quality
of services provided by the Company. I have learnt many useful and beneficial things associated
to the service provided by me in my past work in the capacity of the role of a manager being
allotted to me.
According to Morgeson et al., (2019), skills of employability can be termed and defined
as the fundamental skills and features that can be used to secure the workplace duties and
responsibilities by integrating the laws and legislations of the workplace. Employability skills
can be of different types that need to be inculcated by me to be selected within the hotel industry

3. The qualities that reflect the personality of the individuals are also exposed within the market
such as being honest, and possess the basic self-confidence to execute the activities and
operational procedures.
According to Bowie et al., (2016), the Companies especially belonging to the hotel
industry tends to give importance upon the buying behaviour and the choice patterns of the
customers that have an impact upon the business and manufacturing operations of the hotel
industry. I need to develop the skills that would help in satisfying the urge of the customers and
provide them the support to choose the products or services they want. The soft skills such as the
different forms of attitude and the categories of work ethics has to be acquired by the
professionals like me who have a desire to work for the hotel industry in developing the business
forms and categories.

necessary skill traits that influence the business operations of the hotel industry and provide steps

in a systematic manner by adhering to the specific process and strategies that has to be followed
within the organisations. PDP is a technique that tends to provide steps and measures to assess
