Poor selection by HR and not specific employment

The HR of some hotels plays a very crucial role in hiring the staff for various
functions of the hotel and may be the poor recruitment by the HR may sometime
leads to poor selection of employees with less capabilities to deal with multiple hotel
issues lead to mismanagement and as a result the newly hired employees can’t cope
up with the work of hotel and leaves the job
The manager tries to hire the new staff members but can't always be satisfied with
their work. The HR should also focus on to facilitate in providing more recruitment
and staff hiring job updates for more selection of staff.

The working hours of the hotels are not

life which makes their schedule very

hotel management team in order to deal with the staff issues. Very often the guest
issues or needs are fulfilled on time as the supervisor of the hotels doesn't
communicate with the lower level mangers properly which results in late response
to the queries of the guests and many staff members find it tedious task to deal with
guest problems and choose to leave.
For this proper training is must for the staff members which is sometimes ignored
by many hotels. The hotel HR should keep a check that every information
regarding the changes in hotels policies should be informed to every staff
members.

medical costs the staff member's of the hotel
requires time to time salary flow.

loosing of the staff. The hotel leaders should

late working hours to retain motivate the staff
members.

and managers excluding other staff and as result their doubts are not cleared

. In every workplace every staff member desires and focus to bring growth
but hotel industry doesn't provide the scope for growth for some staff
members as they repeatedly assigned to the same work which will not benefit
them in the future.

Every staff member major motive in hotel industry is job security which
keep their future secure but due to COVID 19 pandemic many people are
facing unemployment due to uncertain closing of hotels many times.
Any negative feedback from the guests also has major role in the staff
members job security as they will be fired anytime from their post leading
to less trust on job security

The hotel industry is increasing its boundaries further
by improving in gust experience by providing the
best hospitality services which is a result of an
efficient teamwork due to various staff members
Many hotels are running out of the staff due to less
flexibility in working hours, uncertainty in jobs due
to COVID 19 leading to job insecurity. Poor
communication and understanding the staff is also
one of the major factor in staff shortage
