PART I: Collecting Information
Barranquilla Plaza Hotel faces numerous challenges based on which a progression is prepared to
gather the necessary information which can be used for redesigning. An appropriate set of the
questionnaire from the users of IT staff and management would be made to do the reshaping.
Questionnaires for Users

 At the time of the video streaming do you have to face continuous buffering ever?
 Have you ever feel irritating by connection problem like Video call dropping as well as voice call
dropping by utilizing the wireless network of the hotel?

sorts of the applications which the users make use of in each of these sections?
 What are the aspects that are needed for the security of the network of the hotel? Does the
hotel use cloud-based servers?
 What bandwidth is necessary for each department to run the business appropriately?
Purpose of the Questionnaires
Involvement of the employees and the investors is the greatest vital persistence for the progress
of the business. The list of questions would help incomplete development of the network, as from these
questions the numerous problems could be found which the users had to face recently and from this
survey, the user behaviors are to be understood. Moreover, it would also help to know about the
expectation of the network users [8]. After getting the feedback from the users it would help to
recognize any basic problem of the network structure and to get improvement. The queries are set in
this way that the survey would positively help to get rid of the problems and to improve the output or
services. By knowing all complications, it would be easy to solve them and decrease the fault to least.
This survey also supports to fix the difficulties in the future in addition to recovering the functioning.
Verification and Validation
Moreover, it also helps in ensuring that the acquired network resources are very much
consistent with the design needs of the project. Moreover, it is also helping in ensuring that the network
performance as well as design generally does not affected due to the selection of the low quality of the
network resources. For validating the questionnaire, the purpose of the questions is needed to be
understood and an evaluation is needed to be made after analysing that the role of the questions for
gathering data. A checking is needed to be done by identifying the double barrelled, leading or confusing
questions. The survey is needed to be pilot tested and the responses is needed to be entered into a
spreadsheet for cleaning and the negatively phrased questions is needed to be reverse coded for
checking that the participants of the test have filled the data in a reckless manner. A consistency
checking can also be performed for identifying the correlation of the questions with the problem factor
and for this the Cronbach’s Alpha test can be implemented. Furthermore a meeting is needed to be
arranged with the stakeholders for validating the new changes that are needed to be made in the
network for meeting the needs of the users and helps the organization to resolve the current issues they
face due to their poor network infrastructure.

Part II: Documentation and Network Redesign
A deep investigation on network resolution in Hotel Barranquilla situated in Columbia has been
done to do research on the dissatisfaction about the network recently presented. In the hotel,
numerous users are recruited with various reasons for which they are not gratified with the network
services [2]. The total hotel should be examined that is each and every floor are should be examined to
make a decision about where to fit the access point of the wireless service. Correct position of access
point could cover maximum area for wireless services.
IT personnel and managers have to face certain constraints as well as to meet technical
objectives; they have done research on this. Network designers should keep in mind the rules and
accommodations of the company as their presentation of the network would be improved and this task
of improvement has to be done by the subgroups of the network as subgrouping would help to manage
a quite large work.
Secondly, after an appropriate examination of network hardware with extra tools, a price
valuation has been done for promoting the network. This network service would be also checked
through various devices to be substituted in the existing network.
In which project it is not possible to communicate with the users and to get information about
the network necessity, then all accessible resources can be used to get information about the device,
applications, network necessity and customers [5]. The total area should be measured where the
network would have to be launch, as the length of the network cable can be known. As a perfect
appraisal of budget and resources are the key to the achievement of a mission, it will help to guess the
appropriate budget of the project.
In order to make an application profile is very essential as it would enable coverage area
separation on the basis of use. In order to decrease the effort of many other configurations, the Switch
configuration with VTP domain manages the devices which are linked with the core layer of the network
structure [7]. In order to deliver adequate bandwidth, it is very important to know about the most
demanded service to run the system successfully.
For redesign the network a normal metrics with modern technology compliance tools uses. By
using the redundant links, it has been found helpful to transport the packet data to its endpoint.
Numerous links are to be used to transfer data as it benefits to escape the jamming and also to have a

quick response [1]. There should a checking for errors in the links otherwise it would be the reason to
lose information which is transferred by these links. This checking will abolish any agitations if there in
the links.
Network design of the network structure has been done by examining all the complications in
the service of the wireless network.
