MN621 Advanced Network Design: Barranquilla Plaza Hotel Network Plan

This report presents an advanced network design solution for the Barranquilla Plaza Hotel, addressing the challenges of an outdated wireless network. Part 1: Information collection
The project is mainly focussed on developing a new network design for the hotel “Barranquilla
Plaza”. It is found that before properly designing the network system for meeting the client’s
requirement, it is very much necessary to properly determine various types of issues which are mainly
faced by the hotel due to the existence of the current network system. Thus, proper information
collection is needed in context to the various staffs, management as well as for the users. The various
project stakeholders are given the opportunity so that they can give their perspective or thoughts on the
challenges that the hotel is presently facing due to the use of the current network system. In addition to
this, it is analyzed some of the significant as well as important questions are generally discussed with the
for knowing the major reason behind the cause as well as occurrences of the issues which is currently
faced by the hotel. The questionnaires that are mainly created for the for determining the various issues
are mainly distributed to both the internal as well as external project stakeholders. By collecting
opinions from the staffs, team members as well as management, issue behind the present network
system will generally be identified.

the entire plan that is mainly developed quite successfully. It is identified that the entire plan which is
generally made should be properly studied for ensuring that proper as well as successful installation of
the new network-based service as per the design that is mainly created for the new network. Effective
analysis as well as plan that is generally developed must be properly studies that generally assist in
giving proper detailed guidance inn order to make proper decision that there are a lot of access points
which are generally designed in a way that appropriate coverage on the entire network is generally
provided.
It is found that proper communication with the various stakeholders generally linked with the
various project stakeholders in order to collect different types of information which are mainly
associated with the entire procedure of implementation so that effective steps will be undertaken in
order to mitigate the various types of challenges and risks which are mainly related with the project.
Moreover, it is analyzed that proper estimation of the cable length is required for making sure that the
procedure of installation based on the different access point assists in providing effective facility to the
entire network with the help of different types of wireless connection. This further helps in suggesting

that proper estimation of the project budget is generally considered to be quite effective for successful
redesigning of the entire network quite effectively.
The entire design that is generally developed for the entire project are considered to be
beneficial for the improvement of the entire business procedures.
