Reason behind selecting this topic is to understand and update knowledge about
outsourcing and offshoring of resources. This topic is new so people will able to acquire

so researcher can collect information in better and effective manner. If researcher wants to work
at international level, then there is requirement of some specific resources from external sources
as well. So this topic is fruitful from future prospects as well. Researcher is able to improve data
gathering and collecting skills because in this primary and secondary information are collected.

Concept of offshoring and outsourcing while globalisation
According to Jonathan Webb (2019) Outsourcing refers to the method in which routine
work will delegate to some third party. This assist in maintaining quality of product and services
and maintain satisfaction of consumers. There is proper use of time, cost and resources because
there is involvement of third party. While offshoring refers to the process in which business will
shifted to some other location due to cost advantage. While expanding business at international
level, with offshoring and outsourcing of resources, cost benefit can be achieved which is
significant for maintaining existence at new market.
Benefits and risks of offshoring and outsourcing for Hotel Crown Plaza
According to GINO LISONDRA (2019) There are some benefits and risk of offshoring
and outsourcing of resources at Hotel crown Plaza because this is relevant in current market.
With the help of offshoring cost gets reduced and hotel is able to achieve economies of scale
through getting favourable government policies, etc. While risk of offshoring are there is
increment in unemployment, differences on the basis of cultural and social differences arise, etc.
Outsourcing assist hotel Crown Plaza by increasing productivity of consumers, flexible working
environment, etc. but risk also such as there is lack of calibration and synchronisation, lack of

Sometimes, there are possibilities of negative results with outsourcing and offshoring of
resources. This is because of lack of managers attention, lack of planning, etc. So managers of
Hotel Crown Plaza has to consider it and then take actions. At international level, managers of
Hotel crown Plaza has to understand specific changes which are taking place in environment
through which they can communicate with employees to know their views. Proper analysis of
talent and cost has to be analysed. According to Hannah Wickford (2019) It is essential to make
changes which gives positive impact. Cost and quality of services and resources must evaluated
primarily. There must be complete analysing legal documents regarding any hidden cost and it
must be used for future and legal purpose.

Research Methodology
Research methodologies refers to study of different tools and techniques which are
significant in context of understanding in better and effective manner. “Research Onion”
framework is used to understand different techniques.
Research philosophy- Pragmatist research philosophy is used in this investigation which focus
on small aspects which is important to be considered in investigation. With this it is easy to
understand changes in better and effective manner.
Research approach- Inductive research approach is used because this provides complete
information about small aspects in better and effective manner. This approach suits best with
qualitative information.
Research method- Qualitative method is used in this research because this is the method through
which graphs and charts are used to represent information to consumers. This is the information
which is easy to represent and understood by reader.
Data collection technique- There are two methods for collecting information i.e. primary and
secondary information. Primary information is collected through questionnaire through which
mindset of individuals can be known. While secondary information can collected through online
sources, books, journals, etc. This is the best way through which overall idea about research
investigation can be known.
Sampling- Sampling is the method through which information can be collected from some
individuals from whole population. Random probable sampling is used in this investigation
through which bias free information can be collected. 30 respondents are selected for collecting
primary information.
Data analysis- Data analysis is the process under which information is collected, gathered and
interpreted in better and appropriate manner. Thematic analysis is used with questionnaire for the
purpose of data analysis. Under this method, there is brief discussion about research questions
asked in questionnaire under different themes to educate reader.
