Emergency management plays a major driver in the hospitality sector. A good
marketing is assured in the context of prevention of an accident in the hotel premises before it
becomes a vital issue and hampering loss of property of Fairmont Pacific Rim as well as the
employees of the hotel by giving the highest standards of safety standards and security
measures. Safety and security needs can be identified as the most vital or crucial factors in
the context of hospitality industry. They are as important to the employees as well as to the
tourists who will, come and stay in Fairmont Pacific Rim. Sudden emergencies can happen in
the hospitality sector; hence, safety is one of the most important aspects to safeguard the
people from accidents or hazardous situations. Safety is associated to safeguard the
employees and the tourists or guests within the hotel premises from potential accident,
accidents as well as deaths, whereas security is expected for safeguarding the property of
Fairmont Pacific Rim from the context of accidents by criminal and terrorist activities. The
management of the hotel need to be aware about maintaining the safety and security of the
