1.a. Attributes of the project team members
During the recruitment exercise for the HPSS project, the project manager determines the
characteristics of the persons that have applied for various job roles in the project. In this project,
apart from technical expertise, the project manager has focused on three major personal attributes
of the participants illustrated in the section below:
Past Experience: The project for the installation of High Precision Spatial Sound and
stage the George Jackson performance required the understanding and knowledge of managing
and working on a long term project. Therefore, it is essential for the new recruits to have the past
experience for working on such a technologically advanced and critical project.
Problem Solving Skills: The HPSS Project involves the implementation of the sound

segregated into three major vehicle for distinguishing the nature and domain of work followed in
the HSSP project. The three identified vehicles are illustrated below:

3.a. Additional Cost and Schedule

and the budget has increased the commissioning date of the project completion. Therefore the
project deadline has exceeded the allocated deadline for the HPSS implementation at the
stadium.

3.b. Project Process and Documentation
Based on ISO9000 certification, four significant processes needs to be carried out by
NSC for HPSS project. The following are the details of the process:
Internal Audits: Internal audits needs to be carried out for the project in order to ensure
the proper budget for the project. Conducting the internal audit on a regular basis allows the NSC
to ensure that optimum flow of budget and mange the appreciation of dollar rate on the
Singaporean Dollar.
Documents Control: The documents developed for the project includes the details aims,
objectives, milestone and requirement for the HPSS project. During the project various changes
were made in the project schedule and budget. Therefore, NSC needs to control and maintain the
changes made in the documents for ensuring the project quality and success.

4.b. Final Cost and CPI
The total cost required for the project is $332,250.00.
The Cost Performance Index (CPI) is often used for measuring the efficiency of the
budget on spent on the project. For calculating the CPI of any project, the CPI is determined as
ration between the budgeted cost and the actual cost of the project.
