INTRODUCTION
This report explains about the ideal job, interests regarding the job and the work
environment of the organization where would an individual prefer to work. It also explained
where and how to find a preferred job. How the position and roles will change in future tills an
individual completed graduation and how changes might affect people looking for job. There are
three resources such as Facebook, Twitter, Indeed available to an individual while seeking a job
and how they enable me to get my desired job.
MAIN BODY
My ideal job
My ideal job is assisting the HR Manger in workforce planning and Employment duties
such as the recruitment and selection and policy formulation of motivational rewards for the staff
members. Organizing training and developmental programs for new people who get selected to
work in an organisation. I would like to perceive a job as assistant manager in the HR department
of Tesco where I can enhance my leadership skills productively. I look forward to work in the
HR department as I have an experience of working before in keeping record of the workforce
and guiding them to achieve the company goals. I am interested in this job as it will enable to
utilize my skills for keeping a good employment record. The role of assistant manager in Tesco
is highly important for the company management, proper implementation of policies and laws
for efficient working of new employees. Tesco provides a healthy work environment for all its
employees, by describing the vision and mission statements of providing the best consumer
focused services and products globally.
Job description
The job description of my ideal job as assistant manager in Human resource department
at Tesco stresses on accomplishing advanced creation and most efficient exploitation of all
accessible assets. The role of job aims to provide assistance to manager in efficient planning and
formulating selection strategies, training and innovative learning opportunities for entire
workforce. Human resources play a vital role in accomplishing the business objectives. The
human-resource department at Tesco revolves around work simplification, uplifting the core
skills and talents of all employees and performance management linked to achieve the target
performance in sales of all products and services. This involves organizing innovative induction

programmes for the new workforce recruited, explaining their roles and duties at Tesco and how
the company vision. It also involves the duty to provide general clerical and administrative
supports to the Human resource division, prepare variety of reports such as technical reports and
status reports pertaining to the management.
Future changes in job:
The role of assistant manager is likely to evolve a lot in future due to the advancement in
technology and up-gradation of managerial techniques. With more competitive environment
emerging in companies, the role becomes more complex as it becomes necessary for him to
come up with the human resource policies. The assistant manager should use effective leadership
skills for motivation and work towards increasing the customer satisfied services. With
increasing competitive retail market industry it is extremely important for the assistant manager
to analyse the upcoming threats and assist in the introduction of new policy frameworks
whenever necessary.
Impact:
These changes might impact greatly to people looking for the Assistant Manager job in
future on various points such as they have to be efficient and more technology updated in their
functions. Tesco has an evolving work environment as the company believes in providing the
best quality services and products to all its customers globally. People looking for this job in
future should be highly qualified and possess strong leadership qualities to fulfil the role.

Facebook- It is the largest social platform used by people to connect with each other. It is
an online platform which has an easy reach to large audience globally where people
socialize and companies share their reports, vacancies at the organization. Companies
enable people who look for new job opportunities to connect with them, describe the job
roles and how they can be best suited for it. While looking for my job, Facebook will
help me to a large extent as companies describe their business goal and missions such as
Optimizing profits by controlling costs, management style the company follows for
keeping the goodwill among customers.
Twitter-Twitter is an American social networking service on which users post and
interact with messages known as “tweets”. It is the platform where people look for jobs in

companies having a strong business goal. Twitter enables highly qualified efficient
people to find their ideal jobs and companies to make a wide reach in the economy for
hiring talented people.. While looking for my ideal job, Twitter can help me in getting the
best company ideal as per my abilities where I will be able to enhance my productivity
along the competitive environment.
Indeed- Indeed is an international job portal where people can share their qualification
details and skills. The job they are looking for and the criteria they need to follow for
getting the post. Companies can establish direct connectivity with the people seeking for
jobs and help them to achieve their goals. While looking for job, Indeed will enable me to
get in touch with my desirable post in a good company where I can showcase my talents
and skills.
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded from the report that my desirable ideal job position at Tesco, the
work environment I look forward to and the description of my post. The duties of the human
resource manager, how the future changes can affect my job and the people looking for job. How
Facebook, Twitter and Indeed have enabled me to get my ideal job.
