Introduction:
The aim of this business report is to discuss the importance of presentation an
individual having all the capacities and abilities to contribute those to the national and
international business growth. In this regard, the requirements and capabilities of an
individual to play to role of an HR will be detailed. The high impact HR operating model of
Deloitte will be discussed along with the industry life cycle. This paper will be also detailing
the personal SWOT analysis that guides a person to develop his own life philosophy for
planning the vision, mission and other strategies for success in the role.
Deloitte model:
The HIHR or high impact operating model has been used for meeting the new
challenges pin the new era of business. This model has changed the thought process behind
HR role and helped in the major shifting in achieving next level business operation. In this
regard, the main focus remains on the elimination of the issues that hold back the HR
practitioners in impacting positively in the international business (Johnson 2016). Bersin by
Deloitte combines high impact research with the experience with the complicated clients in
field. This has revealed primary drivers. These are shifting of the traditional HR roles in the
business, evolution of the HR role organically and process of spreading of business in the
global field. By following this particular model, the HR in any business field be it retail,
manufacturing and IT can solve many a problems in a limited period of time and balance
their roles in contributing in the business process.
Industry life cycle:
The understanding of the industry life cycle is essential to be understood as this
enables the managers to understand how they will be planning strategies and these will

impact on the growth of the organization. There are five strategies which every one of the
industry undergoes. These are introduction, growth, shakeout, maturity, and decline and
snack time. The management if incapable to realise in what situation or stage the company is
now spending cannot lay proper effective strategy and save the organization from facing
decline (Johnson 2016). I am in the growth position of this cycle. Through proper
understanding of this model the HR managers along with the management of the other
department can contribute in the elastration of the growth process and ensure the success of
the companies.
SWOT:
In order to understand the industry, the operation process of the companies in the
same industry, how the human resource work there and what are the expectation of the
companies from the employees, proper realisation of the personal strengths and weakness of
the managers need to be known (Turner and Endres 2017, p.3). This enable them to look for
the operations and eliminating the threats in the industry while managing the entire work
force there.

Strengths:
The main strength that I possess is the communication and negotiation abilities.
These are connected with one another and develop one of the most essentials capabilities of
the managers because they are the connection between the higher level management with the
lower level employees in any department. This also help me to plan, organizations, lead and
control the factors affecting the successful business. In order to perform the duties and
responsibilities I can negotiate with the stakeholders effectively.
Secondly, I possess the confidence needed for the successful performance of the job
roles I am given in the organizations. This I think is capable to ensure that other under me
follow my command. If I am unsure about my own decisions and qualities then my
subordinates will not follow me.
Thirdly, I have the needed passion with the work I do and complete them ethically
within time. I can make my hands dirty with work which creates an impact in the minds of
the subordinates.
Fourthly, I can present myself to be a very good product because of utility in the
competitive world of business. This is due to the fact that I possess some of the very
important strengths which a manager operating in any department of a company will be
needing. I am socially acceptable and can be approached more easily. This enables me to
enter in any group and communicate more flexibility. My strength also include my ability to
create positive impact on the persons while mixing with them. This is how I shall negotiate
with stakeholders effectively by listening to them first then suggest my view. This is effective
because these particular strength can make me user-friendly like any of the products.

Finally. I feel that I possess the skill accountability that makes me capable to work in
a team and gain support from the other associated with me professionally. I have the needed
accountability that ensures that I take responsibilities of whatever I do.
Weaknesses:
Firstly, my inability to inspire the subordinates I have found to be important to
discuss. It prevents my growth to be a successful leaders inspire of having needed
communication skills.
Secondly I do not have the mentality of innovative decision making or creativity to find
unique solution of the unique challenges.
My inability to self-motivation often relates me to face depression. I am an over
committed person and try to keep my promise heart and soul. This is the reason why I often
lose self-motivation and start over anxiousness to fulfil those commitment. This problem
often leads me to fail to attend the goals I have planned beforehand and giving my
competitors extra leverage than me.
Finally, I do not have the risk taking capabilities that is needed for any managers to solve
any issue in a different way. The successful leaders always take risks to save the organisation
in any problematic situation.
Opportunities:
By exploiting my strengths, I can motivate myself which is one of the most important
things for the growth of the leader. Self-motivation will solve many a problems in the regular
responsibilities of the managers.
I will also get scope for the recruit smart talents in the organization because I have
the effective analysing capabilities of the human psychology.

I can easily adapt with any situation before me. This seems to be an easy path for
avoiding any conflicts. In the world of business there will be diversity and difference of
thoughts and decision making process. However my adaptability can help me to exploit any
situation and bring support in my favour (Turner and Endres 2017).
Threats:
Among the threats I have identified the problem of competition. The competition
among the organisations in terms of their assets, resources and profitability can affect
successful decision making of a manager like me.
The threat of increasing viability which can abolish me as a product from market it is
related to cope up with any depressing situation. I cannot take face to face rejection but think
ok please in a negative way. I have phased Infinity problems in my hole student life therefore
I cannot manage to control myself from being depressed whenever any negative words is
spread against me. This can give my competitors appoint to eliminate me from the
competition by attacking me personally and psychologically.
Finally, the threat of constantly changing technology can be a threat to me as I do
not have every strong skills to handle the new up gradation of the technologies and systems.
Vision, Mission and Strategy:
My personal vision is to find put the meaning of life and show kindness, concern and
care for the people around me (Johnson 2016). I aim to earn respect for myself based on the
recognition of my own accomplishments as well as abilities.
My mission is to become a successful leader who will be respected and supported by
all the subordinates and superiors (Chhotray, Sivertsson and Tell 2018, p. 35). It will be my
choice to strategize my own objectives and achieve them ethically.

Competitive strategy:
To present myself as a product, I have found out some of the most important
strategies which will help me in the successful achievement of my personal and professional
growth in one hand and support the growth of the organisations where I will be working. My
three competitive strategies will be-
Developing myself to be beneficial for the company as much as possible. As a
manager I will provide what my consumers will be truly expecting. This will also
offer real value and scope for self-improvement. I know my own features therefore
can communicate my characteristics to the responsible persons for my recruitment
playing the role of customer making buying decisions (Goldenhar, Schwatka and
Johnson 2019).
Defining target market will in my competitive strategy. I will be applying to those
organisations which will be needing the skills I possess (Johnson 2016). This will
eliminate my hard work to fit with the organisational expectations. For this reason I
need support of more education, more sources, knowledge of networking and
guidance of mentors. This will also help me as well as that organisation to create and
meet the demands.

Finally, I shall be identifying the competitors so that I can be careful about that fact
no one else can exploit the weaknesses I possess. I shall be able to point the strengths
before the customers and transformed the weakness I possess.
International strategy:
According to the study by Johnson (2016), in his book ‘Exploring strategy’, it can be
pointed out that there are four most important alternative strategic options are present which
include market penetration, market development, product development and diversification.
On this basis my international strategies will include
Expanding myself with the relation to the existing business. The more changes will be
there in the companies, I shall keep on changing my skills and up grading those to
adapt the situation (Goldenhar, Schwatka and Johnson 2019).
I shall be providing greater economies of scale and experience curve benefits.
Through developing cultural competencies I will enhance my value in the
international market.
I shall develop myself as product and make changes according to the new
technological changes. The new systems which are introduced in the corporations to
gain competitiveness will be learnt by me as early as possible.
I shall be using my communication skills and enhance my marketing capabilities so
that the best of my skills can be presented more easily to the international companies.
Ethics:
In this competitive world of business it is the ethical decision making process
and actions which can differentiate me as a product from the other competitors in a business
market. The customers these days are very much aware about the ethical decision making of
the managers which ultimately lead them to provide product and services according to the

needs of the market. The business which do not describe with ethical actions are not
supported by the stakeholders (Goldenhar, Schwatka and Johnson 2019). For example for
business which contributes social upliftment of the community associated with the business
without thinking about the profit making scenario only are needed by the customers and game
trust from the stakeholders. Similarly the business which takes care of the wellbeing of the
employees get extra leverage in a competitive market because the human resource support the
business in every possible way. I as a product have found that corporate social responsibility
is a path through which the business can be developed and gain a sustainable path to achieve
set goals.
In order to play in the corporate business successfully, the managers like me need to
be focussing on the ethical decision making process. Without ethics, I cannot get support of
the employees if I do not make decisions according to the corporate social responsibilities.
This is a management concept that helps the companies to achieve triple bottom line
approach. The competition level of these firms in any industry is high so also their demand of
the ethical decision making process (Goldenhar, Schwatka and Johnson 2019). I put the
ethical operation of the firms like transparent communication with the stakeholders,
understanding and meeting their needs and meeting them effectively. I can effectively make
strategies which can help my company to measure the corporate profit, meeting the needs of
the people associated with the firm and measure how environmentally responsible a firm.
In the BCG model I have found to be in the cell of Question Mark because the market
growth I have seen is growing and higher than I have developed myself. Therefore my market
share low as a product (Chiu and Lin 2019, p. 30). I need to include more features in my
professional and personal skills so that I can invest more in the self-growth aspects. As the
competition level is higher than my ability and the demands of the companies are constantly
increasing therefore, I need to be more subtle to exploit the strengths in me and target the

opportunities (Schawel and Billing 2018, p.42). I have understood that I have high growth
prospect but low market share stuff I consume a lot of cash but it can bring little in return. In
this. I am referred to as the problem children because I lose money or investment (Mohajan
2017). However I have the prospect of growing rapidly therefore I have the potential to turn
into stars where my market share will be high so also the growth rate (Whitehead 2015). The
companies which will be employing me can invest in me if I can prove my potential for
growth in the selected area.

Leadership style:
Leadership style is the manner and approach to provide direction, motivate
people and implementing plans. This includes the capability of the leaders including total
pattern of implicit and explicit actions performed by the leaders. I think I have the democratic
leadership style that enables me to listen to the opinion of the others opinions to make final
decisions. The features include, allowing others to participate in the decision making process,
respecting others, supporting collaboration and promotion of free-flow of ideas ((Hefti and
Levie 2015). I remain involved on the day to that activities of the work and allow creative
thinking to flourish. The leadership in business is the backbone therefore I need to be playing
important responsibilities to be a leader in the growth of the company where I will be
employed. There are various types of leadership styles which one can follow. However in
most of the cases I feel that leadership is completely an inborn capability (Hefti and Levie
2015). The person who become a successful leader is actually having traits from his
childhood. I never have some features of leaders which have been found in my student life. I
have played the leadership role from in every standards therefore understand the psychology
of the subordinates. However I also understand that there are some factors which are not
inborn qualities that the leader’s poses but they learn from their surroundings and try to adopt
them in the decisions they make.

Conclusion:
Therefore it can be concluded that I possess various skills and competencies but not
ever one will help me in presenting myself as product. Though as a product can contribute
my skills to make the business organisation to be aligning with the Expectations of the
stakeholders in a positive way, I have shown features of Question Mark for which I needs to
develop myself as early as possible and present by utilising to the organisation.
