Reflective statement
I have realised that my communication and presentation skills are not good. I defiantly
need to take some action to improve these skills. This will help mein performing well as human
resource manager in organisation. I need to develop my knowledge about HR policies and
practices. There are many legislations related to employment, health policies etc. If HR does not
have such knowledge, then individual will not be able to tackle quarries of workers. Hence I

P3 Differentiate between organization and individual training
The organizational training aim is to enhance the skills and knowledge so the employees
can perform their duties efficiently. Individual training is given to individualised learner to
enhance its learning styles and is generally used in one to one situation such as team members or
training successors.
Organization learning Individual learning
Organizational training is carried out to
accomplish strategic business objectives and to
provide technical training needs which are
common within projects (Woodcock, M.,
2017). The individual projects handled by the
support groups and specific training needs are
given by support groups.
Individual training works on skills and
knowledge which can be technical,

training.
There are important differences between learning and development. In such a way that
knowledge of personal specifications can help determine the priorities and strategies of
Hightown Housing Association HR department (Liljenberg, 2015). These are various differences
that will help to distinguish these two concepts, and which you must always remember when
talking about learning or development:
Training Development
Training is the learning process of new
employees where they learn the main skills
needed for the job.
Development is the process of training existing
employees for their overall development.
Training is a short-term process, which is 3 to
6 months. This training focuses on developing
current skills and knowledge about
employment.
Development is a continuous and therefore
long-term process. This development focuses
on building knowledge, understanding, and
competence to meet future challenges.
Training has a limited scope specifically work-
oriented. During the training, participants
received the trainers who taught them during
the training.
Development is career-oriented and therefore
relatively broader than training. The
development in which managers focus on tasks
in the future
Many people participate in joint training
programs.
Development is a process of self-assessment
and therefore someone is responsible for its
development.
Creating inclusive culture and role of manager
Hightown Housing Association provides different types of good and efficient internship
and development programs to their employees or students which help them to enhance their
skills, changing of attitude and acquiring more knowledge about developing new houses which
will help to improve their performance and overall benefits the organization.
In order to create inclusive learning and development culture in Hightown Housing
company, HR will conduct a formal meeting will all employees. Individual will take feedback
from them and will analyses their actual problems related to work. Furthermore, human resource

manager will prepare notes of development areas of staff and will organise a training session for
them. In this session all such points will be addressed and weaker points of employees will be
improved.
Manger will develop healthy relationship with employees and will make them aware with
importance of this training session. This will raise their commitment towards the brand and they
will perform well in Hightown Housing.
P4 Importance of continuous learning and professional development
Gibbs learning cycle
Gibbs learning model is the process that help in reflecting the experience of person and
their learning in significant manner.
Description
By using self-evaluation technique, it is analysed by me that my communication and
presentation skills are not good. Whenever I had to coordinate with others or present myself then
I feel so under confident. That create issues for me. Whereas my peer group members can easily
communicate with other employees.
Feeling
At that time, I felt so dishearten and sometimes I felt that I am not a suitable person for
this job. It increases senses of irritation and I do not give response on matter clearly.
Evaluation
But my seniors always support me and they encourage me to do well. They always train
me and motivate me so that I complete my task on time with efficiency. But lack of confident
creates confusion in implementing any task.
Analyses
I analysed that if all team members support each other than work can be completed on
time. Leader has to build up strong relationship with their staff members, this would help in
meeting with the actual goal.
Conclusion
I need to work on some skills so that I can prove myself as good human resource
manager.

themselves. HR has to handle employees those serve to consumers.HR is responsible to advise
