skills which is making me good applicant for customer service manager .can help me to
make the bond. My quick decision making ability can bring me success if right decision
is taken, whereas m ability to interact through native languages can make the bond
deeper with employees to make them work in an efficient way. As I am poor to complete
a task within time, BBC may not choose me, and they may require some creative skills
to present their shows, which can bring me negative marks. People with better skills and
experience are the threats for me.

Task 2
Introduction
It is human habits that they think about different things as per their own ideas, views
and believes. This thinking may or may not include scientific practices or consideration
of other views. Critical thinking is considered as a special ability to think rationally,
considering the logical relation and differentiation among various ideas and chose the
best theory (Paul, 2018). From long ago, this has been considered as a subject of
controversy. It is quite common that critical thinker’s thing differently than the common
people and thus hurts their belief while establishing their own ideas. This very different
approach of critical thinkers to think differently and in an innovative way helps to get the
independent innovative thoughts to make a movement of progress. Critical thinkers ask
rather than simply believe and so their ideas are always unique in nature.

P3 Analyse the differences between organisational and individual learning,
training and development
Organizational learning, training and development is the process of transferring
knowledge of organizational matters as well as giving necessary direction and guidance
to the people within the organization to achieve a particular goal. With the advancement
of time, application of new technology is evident and so, the organizations arrange
learning and training process to develop the staff as per the demand of the market
trends (Meyer and Alstete, 2018). With time, as an organization improves and gather
experiences, they share the experience and its outcome as knowledge to its staff for a
better result in future (Edmonstone, 2018). On the other hand, personal learning,
training and development include a person’s own choice to improve the skills for own
benefit and wholly depend on the capability and hard work of that person.
Organisational learning, training and
development

P4 Analyse the need for continuous learning and professional development to
drive sustainable business performance
The term continuous learning when defined on a personal level, explains i the constant
expansion of skills through continuous learning process to increase knowledge. This
helps the person to adapt with the modern changes personally and personally (Louws et
al., 2018). When taken the professional point of view, continuous learning tells about the
further expanding of the employees skill-set to change accordingly with the market
needs and trends. Both are needed to change with time and to increase scopes for
them. Continuous Professional Development or CPD is the process of continuous
tracking and documentation of the skills, experience and knowledge of the employees
during the work period. Generally, the term is used to mean a portfolio of an employee
by documenting their professional development. This way, different organizational
operations and other services could be improved by improving the skill set of an
employee. Therefore, an employee is trained by the organization for several times for
several reasons to improve and be updated (Heirati et al., 2019).

For individuals, CPD helps to remain focused until they achieve the target in a more
advanced and professional way. This helps a person to adapt as per the market
demand for a certain skill or qualification. This helps to mark the knowledge gaps in
them and give them a foresight to resolve those (Cook et al., 2019). Training and
learning helps to build the necessary confidence in them and to move for better career
options. This is self directed documentation process focusing on the experiences
gathered from training and learning which helps to achieve the personal and
professional objectives. This will be reflected by the individual by their showcasing of
that particular skill or knowledge. Maintaining a portfolio will help the person to
understand his pitfalls and how to never make the same mistake in the future. It helps to
keep track of the deadlines and understand the improvement graph of the employee.
For organizations, CPD learning and training increases the skills and knowledge of the
employers. This, in time, help to increase the brand value of the company by resolving
different issues in different innovative manner. Internal use of CPD promotes a healthy
culture of learning and understanding among the employees and work in a more
combined way, while sharpening their own skills (Lindvall et al., 2018). This makes the
staff valuable assets for the company, which could be used to pull more business for the
organization. Therefore, organizations bring outsourced CPD providers who train the
employees through seminars and workshops for a short tenure and give them
certificates.
Therefore, it is clear that CPD is helpful for individuals as well as organizations an up to
date knowledge and skills to keep skills and knowledge up to date for them to compete
with others in an advanced way (Greenberg et al., 2018). In any organization, such as
BBC this practice is essential so that the employers can set their own goals and serve
the best for the company, so that the BBC can hold its number one position in the news
industry of the world. BBC can arrange training sessions or workshops, e-learning
programs or inter-departmental activities which can help the organization as well as the
individuals. Academic qualifications of the employees can be further improved by
