Career is actions taken by individuals in lifetime that is related to occupation like jobs
held, designation earned and tasks accomplished. Career Action Plan is complete planning
document managed by individual that reflects their learning for career development (Akkermans
and et. al., 2015). This helps them to set goals, find out actions to achieve them and commitment
towards all related activities. The Job Title Identified in this project is of Human Resource
Manager which is one of major position in any organisation as it helps companies to recruit,
maintain and train one of important assets i.e., Human Resource. This makes this designation
important to require specific and general skills so that its efficiency can be enhanced.
MAIN BODY
Personal Analysis
HR Manager in retail industry is required to possess some specific skills, experience and
knowledge so that employee becomes effective and efficient. Here is list of skills which I need to
have so that there is some positive impact on company performance:
Communication Skills: One of the basic skills that any manager need to possess is
excellent communication skills. This also contains inter-personal skills which helps individuals
to maintain relations with other employees of organisation and with customers (Carnevale,
Garcia and Gulish, 2017). This is one of finest skills that I have which will help in enhancing
relationship between me and other staffs or with management. This also proves out to be
effective in implementing policies and bringing changes in organisation. This also create healthy
working environment which brings out efficiency of workforce to contribute efforts in achieving
targets.
Leadership Skills: This skills provides manager with efficiency to motivate staff and
direct their efforts towards accomplishing organisational goals. Leaders provides training,
engage employees and motivate them which assist in development of career. As a leader I will
help organisation by enhancing workforce productivity to put extra efforts to increase overall
productivity of business. This skill will help company in team building, coordination of staff
with each other and controlling unproductive activities which would result in better performance.

working environment of firm which helps employees to perform effectively. This skill will help
me to take corrective actions in critical situations which will assist organisation to accomplish
