INTRODUCTION
Employability skills refers to several kinds of skills which helps people to develop their
inside and outside working capability in order to gain accurate knowledge at specific place.
Along with this, it identifies job opportunities for people that helps them towards self
presentation or interview as well (Dixonand and et. al., 2014). Whereas, personal and
professional development skills helpful for individuals to develop their overall personalities and
profession as well. This report is based on employees skills which is needed to accomplish
overall roles and responsibilities in a perfect way. After this there are few interpersonal skills
will be discussed through having several tools and technologies. At last, there are so many ways
towards processing skills and maximisation of cognition.
Aims and objectives of portfolio
Current portfolio is based on regular development plan of a HR manager. So this person
has few skills and abilities on which he is needed to work towards achieving goals and target.
Introduction
PDP plan for assessment one gives accurate information among abilities and skills in
which person who has not much sufficient knowledge then he can improve themselves. With the
help of this plan of PDP there is also explanation of CPD plan. Together with it involves
different analysis and evaluation as well.
CPD
CPD refers to the Continuing Professional Development which is generally used to
analyse several kind of learning actions. Therefore, professional mainly engage in different types
of activities in order to create and increase skills and abilities (Forte and Flores, 2014). On the
basis of this people are able to learn something new and increases their skills. Along with it is the
combination of different types of methodologies includes training workshops, conferences,
events, e-learning programmes, sharing thoughts, ideas all are helpful for individual in order to
improve their skills along with professional development in a perfect way. By having these
assorted skills individual is able to learn so many new concepts and it aid to enhance their
practical skills as well. On the other side employer's take help from methodical, structured and
applicable approach for having sorts of employees through gaining competitive advantages in an
appropriate manner. Along with firms can also sustain at marketplace for long period of time.

Therefore, structured CPD and active learning skills always comes under the participation and
interaction based knowledge. It assist people to attend lectures, training course, seminars,
conferences. Along with CPD learning ability can be applied on oriented assessment. Other side
passive learning and reflective CPD is applicable on interaction only. There are different types of
examples which is developed by CPD within one direction such as podcasts and reading of
accurate information (GamratMoss and et. al., 2014). Together with herein, different types of
informal meetings through CPD so the main objectives of them to meet clear goals and vision to
achieve targeted goals. Self-learning programmes also comes under this in order to know about
several documents, publications and articles from offline and online as well. Therefore,
appropriate reading publications, several books, journals and trade magazines are all type of
document considered as self-directed CPD.
Apart from that, CPD is much helpful procedure for people in order to improve their
everyday learning skills by which they can behave professional and able to achieve their targeted
goals in a proper way. Whereas, training and learning maximise overall capability and ability of
people towards learning. Therefore, this development bring huge changes and improve overall
industry needs so that they can give better ways of learning to their employees in order to
achieve targeted goals.
How CPD is recorded
In order to record CPD an individual is required to have different types of accurate
information in order to get correct outcomes by which they can meet overall needs and wants of
their professionals or any organization. Therefore, the CPD activity is always helps people to
gain achieve better ways so that they can achieve its goals and objectives in a perfect way. By
having so many activities like seminars, conferences and any certifies activity under CPD
(Gibsonand and Dollarhide, 2014). With the help of these assorted techniques they able to gain
accurate knowledge that can be easily record within short period of time in order to achieve high
level of CPD. It is also considered as a certificate of Attendance, that involves and has been
prepared CPD cards records and self assessment forms. Therefore, once CPD certified activity
has been delivered than joiner can easily updated their CPD record sheet and it is associated with
unique certificate. Similarly it is not necessary for CPD offerer for keep every record from each
employee. Therefore, it has been recommended to them that they should offer at least offer
certificate of participation to people once has been fulfilled. On the basis of CPD records sheet

for individuals to keep each and every record sheet in a proper manner along with up-to-date. So
that finally it will require submit evidence of annual CPD activities to their governmental

An individual has responsibility to assigning time for CPD. For betterment of this they
are required to understand overall desires within firm or industry. With the help of this people
are able to understand about how CPD learning and training should be recorded and how much
time it is needed. Some of the institutes offers different types of CPD to their staff members and
employees in order to get large number of outputs in a perfect way. These assorted goals can be
easily analysed through the help of training, seminars and workshops along with conferences and
seminars as well in the form of learning towards CPD. Sometimes CPD hours can be changes
within few points and credit units (Murdoch-Eatonand Sandars, 2014). Where, majority of
institutions allows staff members to select appropriate subject by which an individual can
achieve its goals. It is also needed to look at CPD on several subject. Herein, time allocating for
CPD is most essential responsibility of person by which he/she can understand entire needs and
wants of company to reach effective training and learning CPD that can be recorded for a time
but it may needed few hours to identifies skills.

of abilities to gain accurate knowledge which is important for me to improve way of individual's
in which they work. Whereas, communication refers to the element to reach success among
business. As per my opinion, I though that it was the great gift which is got from the university
which always help me a lot through improving my communication skills. Therefore, it is
necessary for everyone to have such kind of skills for talking and it help to convince ever people
to listen to what I am telling them to do. So that communicating skills helpful for developing to

maximise unique impact on another person. Additionally, within university I also learned time
management skill which is beneficial for me towards betterment of future. If an individual wants
to bring changes in their life and career as well then he can change anything within time.
Therefore, time management skills helps me a lot towards arranging everyday activity by which I
can achieve my goals and objectives along with long term goals. In college, while I working with
team members, I also learned leadership skills. It helped me to learn guiding and leading people
so that I can work properly. Now according to my opinion, I was able to do work properly along
with increase my communicating skills as well within college time.
What are your further expectations and how will you achieve them
Now I want to maximise my within Human resource field of management as it is
essential for me to formulates knowledgable skills which is needed for creating my career.
Within the job position of HR manager, I have to meet several meetings along with I have to
make presentation as well for my superiors. Thus, it is essential for me to prepared for informal
and formal nettings both.
Reflection
The professional development plan of mine always impact on the several kinds of skills
that I have formulated such as time management skills, presentation skills and leadership skills.
By having so many programmes, meetings and events I have developed my leadership skills
along with team members support. It will help me a lot in order to meet my team members in a
proper way (Ramiaand and et. al., 2016). When we all are working together that, it is better
experience for me to know deeply about my team members and able to find better solution of
any problem. On the other side skill which I have to make leadership skills. On the behalf of HR
manager of an organisation, it is necessary for me to have unique skills of leadership in order to
control and manage activities in relation with subordinates and employees. Therefore, a great
leader can make several decisions for firm and able to examine that I have to formulate more
skills of leadership in a better way to achieve organisational goals and objectives. So that it is
necessary for me to become a good leader to lead my subordinates and employees for hard
working to attain organisational goals. Therefore, employees are known as possession of the firm
thus, they have responsibilities to make every employees involvement in each and every
activities so that employees can feel motivated. It is essential for me as well being a leader I am
ready to build good relations with employees through maximising individual performance within

business place. Another skill which is presentation skill. According to me I should work on my
entire skills of presentation. Through with I can manage this skill through giving unique
presentation to CEO and executives of my business firm.
It will increase my confidence level through presenting my presentation to customers and
clients. During this journey I will be able to give better presentation to my customers and clients
as well. So that I can easily impressed my team members and able to impress them. Apart from
this, it will help me to increase business profit and sales regularly. As per my all over analysis
which I achieved that it is great success through creating my skills. According to the HR
manager, I have to be very confident and able to develop unique relations with employees as it
will help me further to achieve better outcomes towards firm. Therefore, all this is necessary for
me to increase professional growth as a person for firm. When I will be self formed, than I can
work more properly within firm. It will help me a lot to achieve organisational goals and
objectives in a perfect way (Vangrieken, 2017). For more betterment I have to formulate my
personal skills first in a proper style. Apart from that, professional development is very helpful
for me to achieve goals through attaining developing sessions and strong trainings in a perfect
way. Being a HR manager I am able to increase my personal and professional skill both. I have
to more hard work so that I can achieve my target and able to look on numerous ways by which I
can make lots of decisions professionally and able to achieve successful growth in a perfect way.
Therefore, I have to develop many more skills for regular growth of my career.
