INTRODUCTION
Human Resource is the most important department of all organization. It handles number
of different activities of company. The main function of human resource is to hire, motivate as
well as maintaining workforce in the company (Gottardello and Valverde, 2018). In this present
study, Arcadia Group of UK is being chosen for assessment. This is private retail company of
United Kingdom which was founded in 2002. Company is dealing in clothing, accessories and
shoes. This present report will cover the key concept of recruitment and selection as well as HR
delivery model.
MAIN BODY
1. HR delivery models, internal structures and relation within organisation.
HR delivery provides many functions to the company like payroll processing, employees
benefits as well as career advice. These services should be delivered to huge workforce and the
ways these are delivered are based on what is called as the HR model of service deliver
(Longoni, Luzzini and Guerci, 2018). Arcadia Group should use models HR delivery in order to
use the best services are as follows-
Ulrich HR Model- This is one of the best strategy that give right guidance to employees.
In order to make the best policies and strategies, Arcadia Group should use this model to make
effective as well as friendly environment within company. This model defined a new strategic
agenda for human resource. Addition to this, the functions of HR should be compartmented into
four segments which are strategic partners, change agents, administrative expert and employee
champion.
With the help of this model HR manager of company can easily tackle the
important issues by being a strategic partner.
With the help of this model HR manager of company can support all the financial
goals by focusing on designing high quality as well as effective delivery of
services to employees by being an administrative expert (Brunstein, 2016).
With the assistance of model HR manager of organisation can meet the challenges
of the changing business environment by being a change agent.
With the assistance of model HR manager of organisation can focus on the
relationship with employees by being an employee champion.

Soft & Hard HR Model- This is also one of the best model of HR that Arcadia Group
should follow this model as this makes the entire structure of company a well defied structure.
In soft model of HR employees are considers as the most crucial part of organisations
growth and development. This is the best approach concrete on the needs of employees. In this
approach, employees are motivates by providing roles, reward and incentives.
In hard model of HR employees are treated as resources of company such as building and
machinery.
2.Key concept of recruitment and selection.
Recruitment and selection are the most important function of human resource.
Recruitment and selection proceeds is refers to the procedure by which the best individual are
selected for vacant job position.
Recruitment and selection are both different from each other as recruitment is the
procedure of candidate searching as well as stimulating them to apply for job within organisation
while selection is the step by step process of choosing the most suitable employee (Kidwell,
Eddleston and Kellermanns, 2018).
The main goal of recruitment is to hire the best and qualified candidate for job. It is very
important to follow the best recruitment and selection of candidates for Arcadia Group in order
to achieve the goals and objectives of company. There are some steps of recruitment and
selection such as-
Sourcing candidates
Tracking the applicants
Preliminary Phone Interview
Face to Face Interview and Selection
Extending an employment offer
It is fact that entire success of organisation is depended of the effective strategy of
recruitment and selection. Here are some strategy that the HR manage of Arcadia Group should
follow are as follows-
HR manager should make sure that there should be necessary skills, knowledge
and attributed in order to meet current and future operational and strategy
operations (Analoui, 2017).
Make sure that supply is able to meets the requirements of demand.
