Introduction
In order to align the human talent so that the desired goals of the company can be attained
and that can be by making use of strategic recruitment and selection (Abbasi and et.la., 2022). In
any company recruitment is one of the main responsibility of the HR department which has the
main goal to keep the customers engaged so that they will choose to work in the company
instead of other companies in the market. Along with it, the selection and recruitment is defined
as the process which comprises of encouraging and locating applicants. In that process HR plays
the main role in simplifying the application process and to manage the submitted resumes. With
the help of HR, the company will be able to manage the candidate easily and in a systematic
manner. It can also be said that selecting the right employee is considered to be an important goal
for the recruitment team and establishing the correct process can enhance the overall experience
of the employees in the company (Buttigieg, 2021). The main task of the HR Department is to
help the business in increasing the effectiveness of the business. In that process HR professionals
should make sure that they follow the correct recruitment and Selection processes and attract the
best workforce for their organization. By making use of skills and qualifications for the purpose
of filling a job Position and also choosing the right applicant from various candidates. It can also
be said that the selection and recruitment process plays a vital role in the organisation as it
contributes towards growth and success of the company. Additionally, recruitment is mainly
comprising of various set of techniques which has the main goal in relation to attract more
individuals. So that deserving employees will be attracted in the company who has the potential
and also good skills in the company. In relation to selection, it goes hand in hand and further
represents the final stage of the recruiting life cycle. It is very significant in order to transmit out
the selection and recruitment process in effective manner to carry out business operations.

Panayotopoulou, 2018). The company chosen for the study will be Tesco which is one of the
leading company in the supermarket chains which is headquartered in England. It has strong
share in Great Britain and also presented the strong level of performance in the market.
