Introduction:
This paper aims to discuss the roles and responsibilities of the human resource
manager and will identify the key performance indicators of this role. The paper will analyze
the overview of the employer of the company selected and identify the responsibilities of the
HR manager in that particular organization. The responsibilities of HR manager will be
discussed according to their importance and key performance indicator will be identified. The
position of the company with its recruitment and selection procedure will be easier through
this method
Overview of the employer:
Individual Empowerment Network Pty Ltd is a leading provider of healthcare in
Australian region. The company has its officers throughout Queensland, New South Wales,
Northern territory and South Australian region. This particular company offers a package of
healthcare for mental health, disabilities both acute as well as non-acute, home care, safe
houses, holistic and residential care. The company has highly trained employees and support
workers who you have the capacity to meet the need of the clients and help both the
stakeholders as well as the company to grow (Itechealth.com.au 2019). ITEC is an
organization that it encourages the original and Torres Strait islander candidates to apply for
various posts and most importantly for the post of the human resource manager II and
provide equal employment opportunity to everyone.
5 key responsibilities:
In the position of nature there are various responsibilities and duties which need to be
fulfilled. According to the importance the HR manager can differentiate the responsibilities
into 5 steps. In Individual Empowerment Network Pty Ltd the HR manager needs to plan for

the development of the company, provide the candidates with career choice, promote the
candidates who have advanced objectives to shine in the company, serve as leaders of the
organization and ensure that every employee work ethically for the development of the
organization (Leonhart and Radomsky 2017).
Planning for the development of the company:
In the case of this company like others the HR manager needs to take a very important
initiative so that the planning are in accordance of the development of the organization. HR
manager has to deal with the most important asset of the company that is the human resource.
Therefore the manager of the company need to align the Asset according to the organizational
goals through do them the lower level staff gain knowledge about their rights and vision of
the company. Hence the HR manager needs to play a vital role in participating in the
planning process and contribute at their best so that at the organizational activities can be
understood by the human resource and their work for a sustainable and successful growth
(Voegtlin and Greenwood 2016).
Selection and recruitment of candidates:
It is the human resource manager who is the sole responsible person to select and
recruit the prospective candidates for the growth of the organization there are various tools
which the HR manager uses and evaluate the performances of the candidates. Being a human
resource coordinator in Individual Empowerment Network Pty Ltd, the main focus will be on
finding out which candidate will understand the mission of serving the patients and caring
them (Mehralian et al., 2016). As the organizational culture has become more diverse there
for finding out perfect candidate has become difficult but what the HR manager needs to
recruit skill candidates so that at the can mix with the organizational culture and contribute
their best for the growth of it.

Promoting and motivating employees:
In the Healthcare sector, keeping motivation among the employees is quite difficult
because there are diverse of demands of the clients which the employees need to fulfill. In
such case keeping the employees motivated and retaining them need the initiative by the
teacher where he will promote and appraise the employees in such a manner that it they will
feel connected with the organization and the retention rate will be higher. In such cases the
employees need high level of resources so that they can gain knowledge about the patient
care and new technologies for treating the patients. In case the HR manager fails to who
motivate the employees by giving them access to the resources then and rewarding them for
meeting the target and working with the team (Reilly and Williams 2016). Moreover the
human resource manager is responsible to give the Employees with career development
process so that they can grow with the growth of the organization. This will enhance the
skills and competent of the employees in one hand and ease the process of protein and
motivating the employees.
Serving as the leader:
The human resource coordinator of this organization will be the leader for change on
which the employees will be depending for or having update techniques to perform better in
the profession. The HR manager has skills to help the company to make link between the
changing initiatives and the strategic needs. The HR manager is also responsible for
maintaining a highly positive and balanced working culture therefore buy motivating and
aligning the changes for the growth of the organization, the HR manager can be the leader of
the employees.

The HR manager as responsible to handle the most important asset of the organization
that is the human resource need to know different unethical practices which can be done in
the organization. In Individual Empowerment Network Pty Ltd the employees can indulge in
unethical practices like not serving properly to the patience and monetary corruption.
Therefore the human resource manager will be keeping surveillance on the actions of the
employees and take all necessary steps to keep the workplace positive and ethical where the
other employees will not face the blow for the practice of one and loss of fame.
Key performance indicators:
The nature can measure the success of his responsibilities through four major key
performance indicator like
measuring the client satisfaction through employee performance
response of the employees for feedback about the training process that can result
in cost production of the company
Analysing employee retention rate
Measuring the success of changed initiatives
Ranking:
The HR managers need to have the criteria which can help them to select efficient
candidates and operate the organisation more effectively. Therefore, they need to have skills
like-

views of the company to the candidates, convince the employees of the organisation

the exact time of initiate any change.

Therefore, it can be concluded that the company named Individual Empowerment
Network Pty Ltd, the HR manager has responsibilities to guide the workforce to achieve the
organizational goals. There are various was to indicted performance and tools used by the HR
so that the organization can reach the pinnacle of success. Thus the HR man enhance the
position of the company with its recruitment and selection procedure will be easier through
this method.
