INTRODUCTION
Development of teams, individual and organization is very necessary and its helps in
achieve organizational goal and meet objective because through this they improve their skills and
knowledge. It is a process of change to performance and all things in organization and its culture.
So all things helps in provide motivation to members (Khalifa and ALI, 2015). These things
adopt changes according to nature and environment that increase profitability and productivity.
High town housing association is an organization that provide houses to poor people at low cost.
It is type of volunteer organization and provide charity to people that they can not afford money
for house. This report will be cover skills and knowledge of HR adviser, personal skills audit,
professional development plan, organizational and individual learning training and development,
continue learning and professional development.

A. Professional skills and knowledge.
Many types of skills and knowledge has need to human resource professional for manage
employees and organizational performance because its main work is hire skilled and efficient
employees and improve their performance and capabilities. Following skills are required:-
Communication skills :- HR professionals has main skills required that communication
because they communicate with many peoples and top management. It also does closely
interaction with all departments of home town housing association for know and get information
about vacant post for fulfill so this skill is very important. Communication includes listen to
employees and communicate effectively.
Problem solving skills:- this skill helps in prevent conflicts in organization that helps in
deal with any problem. It has to solve problem after listen all things of both party than take
decision without partiality. This skill of HR motivate to employees of organization and they do
work with their full efforts and trust maintain in effective manner.
Knowledge is also very important thing for HR professional related to all operations and
activities and it helps in attract to employees and members. Behavior are also required in HR
like courage to challenge that means they have confidence for face any types of situation. Risk
taker is very important behavior of HR and self confidence of it helps in face situation and tackle
it. Following are knowledge of HR :-

Legislation :- professionals of hometown housing association has need to knowledge of
legislation that adopt by organization for provide protection to employees. Like health and safety
law and it reduces risk and illness from workplace and improve performance and motivate to
them. Anti discrimination law provide protection to employees and no one discriminate to them
bases on their color, caste and religion so they do work with their full efforts (Obisi, Gbajumo-
Sheriff and Uche, 2016).
Rule and regulation :- it has all knowledge about rules and regulation of organization
because for share and advice for follow all instructions and rules. All these things maintain
discipline in organization and work flow smoothly without any conflicts and issue.
Employees satisfaction :- it is the major knowledge about provide and care of
satisfaction to employee's because professional of hometown housing association has need that
they evaluate and analyze performance of employees time to time and give reward and incentive
for their work so these things motivate to peoples and they do work with full effort and
efficiently for increase profitability.

Personal skill audit is a process of evaluation and analyze of own skills and knowledge
for improve and develop loopholes and lack of knowledge. Through this process professionals
knows their strength and weakness. I do audit of my skills and knowledge and following are my

Organizational learning is very important thing for hometown housing association that
helps in get success. It is a lifelong process because learning means update knowledge for

office and holidays. Employees are easily ready for adopt and accept it because organization has

legislation that provide protection to them so employees always be happy and do work with their
