Introduction
HRM mainly deals with the people only in an organization. This is a tough work for an
organisation. A process, which makes effective use of the human resource to achieve the goal of
the organization, is known as HRM. Alternatively, implementation of the planning, organizing
and developing talent as well as a human resource can be stated as HRM. In this report, purpose
and the scope of HRM will be analyzed to understand the principle of HRM to an organization.
Applications of HRM and the key elements of HRM are evaluated in a proper way. The main
objective of HRM is to manage the talent of human resource by enhancing the work
environment. HRM do not discriminate the abilities, skills, and motivation towards the
employee. It will always enhance the productivity of the work. Squire garden is trying to
implement an interview with the help of HRM. This will be helpful for them as HRM has a huge
impact on any organization (Bratton and Gold, 2017).

Task 1- Purpose and Scope of HRM
a) Purpose of the HR function and its importance in an organization, given size and nature
of the business and its plans to become an employer of choice.
There are two types of HR function. Those are -
Operative Function
Recruitment and selection
Recruitment is a process by which any organization starts the process of recruiting. Starting from
the advertisements to the selection of any employee is referred to the recruitment process. The
HRM department does this entire process. This process has the power of elimination of any
candidates coming for the interview process. HRM of Squires Garden does the same for the
selection process of an employee for the better outcome of the organization (Caldwell and
Caldwell, 2016).
Training and development
In this process, the employees will go for the training and develop themselves as per the
