Introduction
The King Edward VII College’s human resource requirements for the next three years is due to the
establishment of two new campuses in Brisbane and Sydney. Since, the college based in Melbourne
is performing well, it was time for the college to expand its horizons.
Emerging trends and practices
Due to the establishment of new campuses, there is a need to improve and implement a formal policy
for flexible arrangements for the employees. In addition to this, there must be a training for
occupational health and safety policies.
Changes to industrial and legal requirements
The equal employment opportunity and diversity will have an impact on the workforce of the King
Edward VII College.
Staffing
There are 24 existing staff members and 10 more are needed for the new campuses to operate – 2
receptionists, 8 trainers and 2 student services officer.
Philosophies and values
There prevails a gap in the existing policies and procedures, such as the filling cabinet should be
