Staffing
Recruiting
It is the process under which firm search for talented candidates and motivate them to
apply for job at the workplace. In current time period there are number of approaches that can be
used for recruitment namely video interview, text message, social media use and referral etc. It is
observed that in past few years large number of business firms adopt referral policy because
under this easily candidates are received for interview process. Moreover, it can be ensured that
candidate coming through referral only eligible candidates will be received (Lievens, 2015).
Hence, it can be said that recruitment is the one of the process which have due importance for the
business firms. Apart from referral, there are other common mediums which are widely used by
the firms like video interview. Under this short interview of an individual is taken and if HR
manager find it relevant then in that case forward its name for the final selection process. Major
benefit of this approach is that if any candidate resides on remote location then it can be
motivating to participate in the firm selection process. Text message can be send to the mobile
number of the candidates for recruitment purpose. Candidates receive number of mails and
sometimes failed to read message but they always pay due attention to the message they received
on mobile. Hence, by sending message to the candidates on mobile in effective manner
recruitment process can be implemented by the business frim (Stariņeca, 2015). Thus, talent
acquisition is boosted through such kind of process. Recruitment process followed by the firm is
given below.
In the first stage of the recruitment process first of all HR manager determine company
requirement and then determine source from where candidates need to be recruit. For
example, of firm need young and talented managers then in that case it can recruit

company also uses video training system at the working place in which HR uses animated
videos, live action in which the company creates interaction between employer and customers.
At the time of recruiting the candidate, it is essential for the company to divide the work
as per the employee competencies and for that special trainers are hire who provide effective
training system to them. For instance, to fill the vacant seat, the HR manger has to take test in
order to check the competencies and then assign duties accordingly. Moreover, it is analysed that
by using an effective training system will help them to increase the production level as well as
profitability of the firm.
The training is provided in effective manner to their employees at Britannia and to

techniques in order to train the employees in effective manner (Dipboye, 2017). Further, there
are different techniques used by the firm such as:
Initially, the trainer provides a brief introduction related to training in order to let the
employee understand about the training system.
Further, trainer also provide key terms and policies in order to demonstrate the procedure
followed at Britannia.
Provide a brief summary or an overview and trainer also use repetition to assist trainees
in grasping and retaining information.
Trainer also uses e-learning programs and hand- on training system because it creates
good impression upon them. In addition to this, trainer also takes test frequently in order
to analyse the skills and weaknesses in employees. Because it is an objective way to
determine whether training is achieved their goals or not.
Lastly, at every stage, try to involve every trainee into the action. For instance, trainer at
Britania ask participants to share their experience in the session and even many of them
share their valuable information that contribute for the success of the training. As a result,
this reflect that trainee have their interest at training session.
After completing the training, try to get feedback from others in order to analyse whether

which helps to satisfied and motivate all the applicants working with business since for so

their staff, it assures management concern towards its workers. Business can offer
pension scheme to their staff that contribute to increase workers loyalty towards
company.
Some of the motivational theories that can be applied in the workplace involve two categories:
Process Theories which determine the needs of an entire organization and how these can can be
achieved rather than individual needs. These theories identify the how aspect of the motivational
needs. One such theory is Adams equity theory that stated the input that employees tend to put in
the company should match with their output level and a balance should be maintained
appropriately. This keeps the employees satisfied and happy. Another theory under his is
expectancy theory of Vroom which focused on keeping employee motivated thorough their
performance level improvement.
Content Theories: These can be defined as those theories that help in determining what the
individual needs are and addresses the “what” aspect of such needs. Maslow’s need hierarchy
theory, Herzberg‘s Two factor theory etc. are some of the key theories that need to be are
evaluated. Maslow theory identifies five major categories of the needs to be specifically
addressed by the individual and Herzberg has stated that there are two parts i.e. satisfaction and
dissatisfaction. The factors that provide satisfaction are achievement recognitions, responsibility
