This research project examines the critical role of Human Resource (HR) practices in talent management, specifically within the hospitality sector, using Sheraton Hotel as a case study. The project begins with an introduction to talent management, highlighting its significance in achieving competitive advantages and retaining skilled employees. It outlines the research objectives, which include understanding talent management, assessing its benefits for Sheraton Hotel, and identifying key HR practices. The project then delves into the rationale for choosing the project, emphasizing its relevance to understanding HR's role in talent retention and improving workforce efficiency. It reviews literature sources, defining talent management, and exploring the benefits of talent management for hotels, such as improved recruitment and employee development. It also explores specific HR practices, like strategic planning and performance monitoring. The project details the research methodology, including the descriptive research design, deductive approach, and quantitative data collection methods, employing primary data collection through questionnaires with a probabilistic sampling method.
