INTRODUCTION
Employees are an important part in firm. Human Resource Development (HRD) is
essential for company so that employees can perform efficiently and effectively. It results in
accomplishing organisational objectives. Hence, firm can increase profits and improve its
performance in long run (Alarcon, 2011). Report discusses about the Sun Court company which
is related with health care industry. It provides various health products to customers. Project
explains about comparison of different learning styles, role of learning curve, importance of
transferring learning in firm and contribution of styles and theories when designing a learning
event. The report discuses about training needs at different levels, benefits and limitations of
training methods. In addition, it explains about systematic approaches for developing training
event and prepares an evaluation form using various techniques. Furthermore, it discusses about
carrying an evaluation of training event, review success of evaluation methods and the role of
government in training and development. Moreover, project explains about the ways through
which competency movement has impacted public and private sectors and contribution of
training initiatives to HRD in firm.
TASK 1
1.1 Comparison between different styles of learning
At work place learning is important and it is beneficial for company as well employees.
There are changes taking place in society and to make long run in industry manger has to
reframe its strategies. There are employees with different mindset so it is important to know
perception and then apply learning styles. Some of the learning styles are as follows: Aural- This styles might be less impactful as compared to other styles. In this style there
is utilisation of sound to train personnel. This method is cheap as there is no huge cost
involved. Verbal- In this style theoretical aspects are taught. There is trained personnel who
provide related knowledge to employees. Visual- This style is effective as workers learn by watching new and innovative things.
According to Anderson, 2013 watching is more impactful as compared to theory things.
Visual learning includes use of graphs, charts, etc. Solitary- This style says that there are some individuals which learn by staying alone.
This method is costly and might be possible that individual learn more diligently.

Social- This style is reverse of solitary style. This is beneficial for company as this helps
to provide training to individuals in group so it is cost and tine effective. This helps to
create motivation among employees. Kinesthetic- This style says that individual must apply its learning to its operations. This
proves fruitful as problems faced will get sorted at the same time(Armstrong and Taylor,
2014).
Logical- This style is beneficial for person who want logics behind every act. This styles
answers question of why, what, how, whom, etc. This technique helps person to know
about reason why and how change is impactful.
Above discussed styles help Sun court train personnel. They must use two or different
styles Kinesthetic, Social, Logical which proves more beneficial for company aas well as
employee. Workers learn frequently in a group. In Sun Court there are many workers so, this is
beneficial as there are, less cost as compared to other techniques.
1.2 Role of learning curve and its importance at work place
Meaning of Learning Curve-
Learning curve is a graph which says that as there is increase in experience, perfection
also increases. Hence this curve shows the relationship between experience and perfection of
individual. This technique is beneficial as manager came to know about need of training and up
to what level. This helps company to know about change in activities and operations. It is
important that manager has to see operations performed by employees and in case of repetition
that must be eradicated (Bakker, Albrecht and Leiter, 2011). Learning curve help person to
enhance its knowledge and it is important for their personal growth.
Sun Court is company which come with housing facility to old age people. But as
environment is changing it is important to accept those modifications. Manager of Sun Court
thinks that training of employees is wastage of fund and time. It is important that company has to
analyse performance of employees and then see need and level of learning. This saves time as
well as cost of company. After providing training it is important to give analyse performance of
workers and improves quality of services.

Learning theory are the approaches used by company to make employees aware about
their rules and responsibilities. This helps to motivate workers to give their best so that they get
hype in their carer as well. Learning theory helps to know where shortcoming is in performance
and how it can be resolved. Planning training for employees are tough and there is requirement
to proper planning. This is responsibility of manager of company. In Sun Court as manger do not
give preference to training program but is has essential role in today's environment (Bishop and
Pagiola, eds., 2012). Training provides employees confidence to employees and they are also
confident at work place.
Theories of Learning are discussed below- Cognitive approach- This approach says that employee has to learn things and apply
those policies at his/ her work place. Learning program is conducted for group of
employees but there is difference in their applying that knowledge. Behavioural approach- There is difference in nature of every person so it is important to
give apply plans and policies according to everyone. If there is change in situation
behaviour of employee also varied.

Constructivism approach- This theory talks about perception of individual. It implies
that different employees have contrary reaction for particular situation (Bratton and Gold,
2017). Hence every worker take training program in different way.
RELATIONASHIP BETWEEN LEARNING THEORIES AND STYLES
In Sun court there are different activities which aims to fulfil the need of customer and
objectives of company. There are possibilities that same activity has to be performed by different
employees in various ways. So it is important to analyse most appropriate method to be used.
This helps in motivating employees and improving quality of services.

Sun court Limited is an organisation which needs training at different levels of company. There
are 3 types of levels: top, middle and lower level. Top level creates plans and policies; middle
helps in communicating these strategies and lower level implements these strategies. Comparison
between 3 levels of Sun court limited are described below- Top level In this level, manager uses the latest and recent technologies so that they can
provide effective training to employees. They can evaluates the changes so that they
emphasis on learn new methods through different methods and thus they can solve all
issues and problems of staff members. Through this, managers can learn new skills and
knowledge in providing training to all employees and give innovative ideas related to
methods of training. Thus, firm can provide effective and the best training to all
employees. This results in fulfilling the needs and skills of employees which they actually
require from the managers (Brewster and Hegewisch, eds., 2017). Hence, it can increase
the potential and skills of employees to perform better.

Middle level Mainly, these employees communicate these strategies to lower level
workers. They have to improve communication skills and they can cope with pressure
related to work. So, manager of People R Us company have to provide training to middle
employees so that they can perform better. Managers have to motivate middle employees
of Sun Court Limited so that it can increase their energy level and enthusiasm to perform
better. Thus, staff members can improve their verbal and written communication skills.
Through this, employees can perform efficiently and effectively (Chelladurai and
Kerwin, 2017). Hence, they can give their best results. It results in accomplishing of
objectives and targets of company. Thus, firm can increase their profits and market share.
Consequently, they can maintain unique position in minds of all employees and
customers.
Lower level – Their training needs are different from above two levels. Lower level
employees can get training regarding communication with different customers. They can
learn foreign language so that they can easily interact with customers. Firm can spend
huge amount of money in developing communication skills. Through this, lower level
employees can easily communicate with customers in an efficient and effective manner.
It results in increasing sales and profits of company.
This model helps in assessing training. It helps in giving training to all employees in company. It
has 2 parts i.e. training content and training audience.
Training audience consists of 2 parts job task analysis and learning outcomes.
Target audience emphasis on 2 areas skill gap analysis and evaluate learner analysis.
2.2 Benefits and limitation of training methods in company
There are two types of training which are on the job and off the job which are provided to
employees. On the job training method includes education to employees at actual field or
workplace. Off the job means employees receive training at class rooms. Benefits and limitations
of methods of training in Sun court Limited are - Benefits- Through on the job method, it increases the knowledge and skills of employees
as they get practical experience at workplace (Crouch, 2011). Hence, it increases the
skills and potential of employees so that they can perform better. All staff members can
give their best results. It does not incur extra expenses of company in providing on the
job training to employees.

Limitations – If the trainer is not qualified and educated, then it cannot provide efficient
and effective training to all employees. Thus, it does not increases the knowledge and
skills of employees in proper manner. Manager cannot perform properly as they had to
focus on 2 areas firstly in working and secondly in providing training to staff members.
Thus, they cannot provide training in an effective and efficient manner.
Off the job- Advantages On the job training method provide theoretical knowledge to all
employees, which is important so that all staff members can learn different skills. As a
result, they have good and unique experience (Daley, 2012). All employees can also
specialize in one activity. Thus, they can perform well and give good results.
Disadvantages This method is expensive and employees find that lecture and
theoretical knowledge is boring and dull. They do not take interest in lectures. All staff
members do not get practical exposure and experience in working at actual workplace.
Hence it cannot develop the knowledge of workers and they cannot perform better.
2.3 Systematic approach for planning training event
Sun court Limited has to create and design training events in an efficient manner so that it
can give benefits to employees and employer. Main objective is to find the weakness of all
employees so that necessary skills and knowledge can be developed among all employees.

Analysis First step includes identification of necessary
skills so that manager can provide according to
training needs of all individuals. They can
identify the skills of workers through they
objectives and goals of company. They can
communicate all the policies an plans

training. All methods of providing training is
decided by the manager so that it can provide

Evaluation are the techniques through which results of training can be find out. After
completion of feedback form manager can create evaluation form to get full information related
with training events. It is done to check whether results of training programmes are accomplish
or not (Flatten and et. al., 2011). It also improves the performance of all employees so that they
can perform better. It also increase the motivation level of employees so that they can perform
efficiently and effectively. Sun court limited is a famous company and it has to provide training
to all employees. So hence it has created questionnaire to evaluate the results of training that it is
effective or not.

points through which company can evaluate feedback form- Participant feedback – In this feedback is received from the trainees who actually
receives the training . It helps in evaluating experience of all trainees. Out of total 960
people, 90% are happy and satisfied. All trainees thoughtless can increase the skills and
knowledge through the training event (Gennaioli and et. al., 2012). They had mentioned
that training techniques can be made more efficient and effective. So these problems can
be solved.
Knowledge acquisition – In this step knowledge of all the trainees are developed. Thus
they have know the latest methods and techniques of performing any activity. Answers
