The organizational strategy of ABC bank includes- ensuring extraordinary services to
customers in all business aspects (Reilly & Williams, 2016). They also have the vision of
ensuring that they look for people who combine expertise and talent in every branch, every town,
every city and also every level. Moreover the employees of the company are in direct contact
with the customers.
Identification of my goals
My goal being a part of the HR team is to explain the importance of the role played by
the HRM in business success (Kateb & Ahmadi, 2018).
Identification of the key themes of the pitch
Attracting, maintaining and developing top quality of employees are the key themes of
the pitch.
Importance of HR in ensuring business success of ABC Company
It is necessary to align the HR strategy with the overall organizational strategy because it
can help in achieving the organizational goals and strategies in a more effective manner through
proper recruitment, orientation, training and management of the employee’s performance within
the organization. HR Strategies have a major impact over the performance of the employees
because it includes the reward and recognition strategies, the compensation strategies, the
strategies for annual level and paid leaves and others. Therefore if these strategies are framed
properly then the employees feel motivated and they give their best for achieving the
organizational objectives. Once the employees feel satisfied and motivated to work then their
quality of service to the customers will also improve and the company will be able to achieve its
organizational objectives (Sousa & Leite, 2017). Moreover the company also has the vision of
recruiting talented candidates who can combine their talent and expertise for delivering the best
quality services however it is also necessary to retain these talented employees in this
competitive market scenario.
Talented employees can be retained easily through a proper reward and recognition
policy within the organization that is transparent and honest and also by having employees

engagement activities within the organization. The HR team is usually responsible for carrying
out various employees engagement activities within an organization. Moreover if the employees

organizational objectives more effectively and efficiently.
