EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

attitude and beliefs. Such kind of things lead to clashes in the business. In the current research
study case of BN Foray is analysed and it is identified that firm is facing multiple issues like
clashes between employees and elevation in cost etc. In order to solve such kind of problems
business firm can increase its workforce, can conduct counselling sessions and can adopt just in
time approach. Mitigation strategies must be also being prepared in order to tackle risk that is

INTRODUCTION
In the present research study HRM issues that BN Forey faced in its business are discussed
in detail. Along with this, solutions are also proposed that must be followed in order to solve the
business problem. In middle part of the report risk register is prepared where risks are given that
may arise when proposed plan going to implement. At end of the report mitigation strategies are
given that must be followed by the firm in order to handle situation.
Primary HRM issues on BN Forey
Warehousing issue
Firm is facing warehouse issue under which cost of production is high in the business and due to
this reason sales price of the product is high in the market. Firm products do not sell at fast pace
and remain in warehouse because of which cost of production increased. Apart from this, some
times employees suffered from disease or become injured due to which cost of employment
increase. All these things cumulatively lead to increase in cost of production at workplace.
Logistic Issue
The HR of BN Forey faces issues related to Logistic issue and the team indulge in the logistic is
consider the core function for the smooth running of company. In that, HR managers faces issues
relate to health and safety issues that needs to be managed using best leadership. For that Jo a
team leader also accused Miles who is health and safety executive to leave a team at dangerous
situation. In the same time, Jo also faces issue related to complying with health and safety needs
of the employees and that is why, he needs to make changes within a business. She is responsible
for importing vodka for some of the evening cocktail snack products. These products have been
flying off the shelf and she has been importing surprisingly large quantities of vodka. This reflect
that Jo failed to estimate accurate demand which is one of the main logistics issue. Health
department failed to provide support to logistics department in respect to ensuring that employees
working in relevant department are healthy. This is one of major issue,
Marketing issue
Jarka Cuperova who is the chief marketing officer of BN Forey faces issues regarding the
level of performance of the company in respect of marketing function. The function of marketing
is distributed with the group of some people according to the category of the product. Marketing
officer finds that due to this structure, there is lack of transparency in communication and

objectives of different groups also contradicts with each other. As per the customer survey, it has
been found out that there are various health related issues that are increased in previous 12
months. Therefore, company should consider these issues for improving the performance.
Employee retention issue
In the business firm higher pay is given to the employees but they are not given due respect
which ultimately affect their work. For long work hours employees have to work in the company.
Such kind of environment frustrate employees at the workplace. Managers does not appraise
employees and even do not support them properly. It is one of major issue at workplace.
IT issue
Mark has a reputation for being efficient, detail conscious, arrogant and abrasive and has a
high turnover in his team. This issue involves leadership and management.
Proposal for problem solution
In order to solve relevant problem, it is very important for the managers to adopt specific
approach like just in time. Just in time is the strategy under which raw items are ordered by
considering production schedules. Important point to note is that units need to be produced is
determined on basis of product demand in the market. According to demand units will be
produced and by considering units that need to be purchase material will be order time to time.
By doing so cost cutting can be done in the business (Bitzer and Glasbergen, 2015). By
following this approach logistics and warehousing issue can be solved to great extent.
In order to solve health and safety issue in logistics department business firm must ensure
that time to time meeting is organized between health and safety department and logistics
department head. According to requirements strategy will be implemented on time and better
understanding will be developed between both departments heads (Macdonald, Kleinaltenkamp
and Wilson, 2016).
Other major problem is IT issue and under this either IT head can be changed or strict
actions can be taken against present IT head. This is because IT head arrogant behaviour and
wrong attitude is creating lots of problem for the employees at the workplace. Such kind of
things demotivate employees to work in the company. Even employees do not like to put their

efforts at the workplace for achievement of target. Hence, it can be said that it is important to
take step immediately.
In context of marketing issues, company must develop transparency between team members,
marketing officer communicate with their group of people and make discussion based on work
which is essential and helpful to solve issue which they faced for long period. With the help of
effective communication and transparency marketing officer will achieve their business objective
effectively and increase profitability of business (Brooks, El-Gayar and Sarnikar, 2015).
In context of employee retention problem, workers are facing many problems due to late
working hours for which company do not pay good salary packages to them, in order to retain
talented applicants with business, management should increase workforce of the employees
which help to increase their morale and loyalty towards company.

In order to implement above proposed solutions there is need to prepare proper
