This paper gives a demonstration of how we may think of people as clients who live with
prone to problems. Some of these problems seem to be too heavy to be resolved by the human on
their own. We shall look at how we should keep in mind the value of every human life and the
potential of their happiness within each of us. Referencing the quote by the lady named Eleanor
Roosevelt, “you gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you stop to
look fear in the face. You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” We shall look at how this
quote is of importance in the field of human services. We shall discuss how it can be helpful
when working with the clients facing some fear or feeling to be “small.”
It has been suggested that you gain courage, strength, and confidence through every
experience and failing to look behind (Robbins, 2017). This has been reflected based on the
Eleanor Roosevelt biography, where she gives her life experience to prove her quote by her own
life (Lönnqvist et al., 2015). Taking a view of her life, you find how she was left so young
together with her brother after experiencing three consecutive deaths in a family (Lönnqvist et
al., 2015). Despite being born in a wealthy family, she faced that down moment of life with a
blow of her father was too close to her.
It has been further suggested that despite that down moment, she never gave up, but
instead, she enrolled in a boarding school outside London. By good luck, she became under the
influence of the head mistress, Marie souvestre (Boons et al., 2015). Eleanor got a similar
passion and interest that Marie had for travel and excellence in everything but sports. This, at
first, turned to be the most critical moment of her life ever (Christian et al., 2015). This has
reflected her first important explanation on how important it is for one to be courageous and
brave enough and never look back because of any fear.

It has also been suggested that she returned back to New York and by good luck she got
into a courtship with a distant cousin and got married (Lönnqvist et al., 2015). After that some
other moments of low started where after giving birth to six children, one had died in infancy of
which it was a blow to her. Another serious thing happened where her husband started to find
compassion in pleasure elsewhere (Lönnqvist et al., 2015). Franklin her husband had started
having affairs with her secretary Lucy. This turned again to be one of the most traumatic
moments of her life.
Conclusion
It has been suggested that though she advocated for a divorce, her friend joseph las
denied her and insisted that she should continue supporting her husband. She became more
experienced despite her painful decision and later found herself being a senior lady in the
government. This explained clearly how one could survive when he or she fails to look to the
things behind her and focus on ahead of him or her.
