INTRODUCTION
Human resource management refers to the process that an organisation follows in order
to manage and control the people working within company for achieving their set objectives. It is
also responsible for formulating policies as well as work with in organisation (Banfield, Kay and
Royles, 2018). The Colour Company is London based firm which provide high quality and fast
turnaround printing services such as digital print, 3D print, online marketing etc. This report
elaborates about the purpose of HRM practices and different approaches of recruitment &
selection along with its benefit to employer as well as employees. Further it explains
effectiveness of HRM in raising organisational productivity and profit. It also talks about the

legislation set by the UK government that must be followed by The Colour Company: Health & Safety Law: This legislation is formulated by UK government in order to
ensure the health, safety and welfare of employees at workplace. It makes employer
responsible for providing the safe environment to its employees where they work without
the risk of health and life. Health & safety law has a great influence over decision making
