of inclusion and diversity in workplace. The diverse workplace is the key element which
needs to be included as it assists in employee engagement that leads to increase in
productivity.
Challenges and Benefits of Diversity Management for HR Policy Development and
Implementation Face
In the present scenario, the human beings are different form one another and human
diversity starts from there. There are different challenges of the diversity management which
includes the conflicting kind of working styles across the teams which can affect the growth
and profitability of the firms (Buse, Bernstein and Bilimoria 2016). In addition, the
integration across the multicultural teams can be difficult in nature in face of the prejudice or
the negative cultural stereotypes.
On the other hand, there are major benefits which includes the fact that diverse
workplace allows the company in offering broader and adaptable range of different products
as well as services (Hunt, Layton and Prince 2015). The adaptability can be faster and more
effective planning for helping the employees to have proper insight in meeting the changed
consumer behaviour.

In overcoming the different diversity challenges in the organization, there are
different kinds of human resource policies which are required to be incorporated by them in

different people from various cultures can have equal access to the different
employment opportunities which is free from discrimination as well as bias

Approach to Eliminate Unacceptable and Unlawful behaviour- It is the other policy
wherein there is requirement of inclusiveness in workplace wherein there should be
inclusion of penalties that needs to be incorporated for growth of company.
Benefits of Diverse Teams
The diverse team is excellent for the personal development of employees and they
learn from various backgrounds as well as skills of the different counterparts which makes
them with better communicators and more socially aware people. Diversity in workplace
leads to the improved employer brand that will be efficient in attracting most innovative type
of employees in the company (Theodorakopoulos and Budhwar 2015). There will be
increased engagement among the employees that is effective in improving cultural insights.
Through engagement of employees from various cultures, it will be allowing them in working
on a joint manner and achieve the goals in a sustainable manner.
Specific Issues of National legislation on Equality in Workplace for Enforcing Areas of
Diversity and Equality
Freedom from Discrimination- It is the first and foremost national legislation on
equality in workplace wherein it will be fostering good relationships between persons
who share the protected kind of characteristics and persons who do not share it as well

Equal Opportunities Act- It is the second aspect which is required to be followed for
