This research project investigates the impact of changing Human Resource Management (HRM) practices on employee performance, using British Airways (BA) as a case study. The project begins with a research proposal outlining the objectives, research questions, and rationale for the study. It explores the factors influencing project selection and includes a critical review of key references related to HRM. The methodology employs an interpretivism philosophy and an inductive approach, using a descriptive research design. Data collection involves both primary (surveys with BA employees) and secondary sources (books, journals, online articles). The project analyzes the relationship between HRM practices and employee performance and recommends improvements to enhance employee motivation and effectiveness. The findings are presented in a structured format, including recommendations for further consideration, and the use of a questionnaire is mentioned in the appendix.
