INTRODUCTION
Human resource management refers to process of management of human resource,
providing training and compensation to the employees and developing effective strategies in
order to retain them for long period. Human resource management is plays an important role in
organisation by developing ethical values in different employees. Human resource management
play a crucial role by managing and encouraging performance of different employees in the
organisation (Agarwal, 2021). The human resource management is also powerful as its major
functions are motivating employees, providing them training and development, solving problems
of employees in order to increase satisfaction of employees. Human resource management
provide various benefits to organisation as it helps in finding right kind of employees at right
place in company and manage performance of employees which helps in improving efficiency of
employees. Human resource managers also helps in building culture as well as values in the
organisation and also focus upon the management of conflict within the same.
This project report includes study of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars which is a auto mobile
organisation providing its products and service at international level (Acquah, Agyabeng-
Mensah and Afum, 2020). Rolls-Royce was established in the year 1904 and the founder of this
company was Charles Rolls and Henry Royce. This project report includes explanation of scope
and purpose of human resource management in order to retain skills and talented employees who
are capable for fulfilling purpose and objectives of business. This report covers different
functions which are performed by human resource management in order to develop the
organisation according to contemporary world. This project also covers various HRM practices
that are used by human resource management of an organisation. In this project a brief overview
of employment legislation is also explained in a precise manner.

There are various reason for which different strategies to be apply in business of Rolls-Royce
which helps them to handle various issues arise in company (Salas‐Vallina, Alegre and López‐
Cabrales, 2021). Some of issues which is faced by company is competition as well as skilled
workforce. In order to overcome of these problems. Firm is hiring new employees which provide
them new ideas, skills and knowledge. In order to enhance capability of business, managers of
company can also provide training and development to their employees. Hiring new employees
in organisation also create competition among existing firm and also make organisation capable
to overcome of competition in market. Managers of company also needs to motivate their
employees in order to increase efficiency as well as productivity of company. For this, they can
provide rewards to their employee and can also create flexible environment in business.
CONCLUSION
From above mentioned project report it can be concluded that human resource management is
one of function in any organisation which provide right candidate for right place. It helps
company for increasing their profitability as well as productivity by motivating employees.
There are various purpose for which human resource management is applicable in business
including maintaining quality of work life, increasing productivity as well as profit of company,
matching demand and supply of human resource at workplace. There are different function of
human resource management in a company including job design as well as analysis, hiring
employees for carry out their operation, training and development of employees, compensation
and benefits. Recruitment and selection is one of important function of human resource
management as it ensure availability of skilled employees for company. Recruitment and
selection has different approaches which has their own advantage and disadvantage.
Recruitment approaches can be internal as well as external and both has their own benefits for
organisation. Approaches of selection includes interview, group discussion and many more.

and many more. Training helps to improve skills of employees which provide them future
opportunity of career advancement but at same time, it provide benefit to employees as they can
get benefit of improved skills which allow them to increase productivity of employees.
Employees relation is important for a company as it helps managers of company to retain
employees for long period of time, reduce conflict in business, increase productivity of
employees. There are also various employment legislation which is to be consider by an
organisation while carry out their operation including employees right act, minimum wages act,
health and safety act and many more.
